Your ADRs are coming up soon though! That's exciting. I'm still working ours out for October. I did a bunch last night. I know it wasn't letting people do 180+10 online, but it let me do it last night so I took advantage of it! lol

I hope it works on 5/7 for me I hate calling! Other than our first day being spent entirely at the Poly and doing 'Ohana(hopefully)for dinner that evening, Kona for a backup, our other days depend on if I am able to snag a BOG for some night M-Th since Fri will be MK but also our last day and will have to get back to Poly for ME pickup before dinner.

I thought about CG but since we are not doing the DP this trip, maybe next time.

I hope so. Congrates on the second BOG, I managed to snag a second ADR for there back in December but decided to cancel it to give someone else a chance and later regretted canceling it.

Oh! We were thinking of booking the Private Illuminations party thru our TA who's hosting one, then decided we would prefer the Wishes one. hmmmmm, I really don't know how the private parties differ from Wishes May have to rethink!

A few years ago we attended an IlumiNations Dessert Party hosted by MFT for their clients who booked a particular December trip with them - it was held in a lower level next to Rose and Crown (in the bridge side). It was okay, but not phenomenal. We had so much smoke and ash coming toward us during the fireworks .... if not under an umbrella guests would have been covered in ash, so we were very happy that we chose to sit under the umbrella rather than stand down by the water. The desserts were okay too, but not out of those world. What was most fun was before the Dessert Party the entire group of about 100 was given special pins and taken through the back entrance of Soarin' for a private ride! We all had a fantastic time and did enjoy the dessert party - I think another location might have been better...then again, it will likely depend on how much wind and direction that night.

HRH did AWESOME in her MRI and I am awaiting results, on trip related news...I MAY have talked DH into a WDW trip...saving US/IoA for 2014! YAY!!!

Resort of the day...BWI CL..do not ask...I have no answer. I am thinking of going back to July so I can use my AP and the 35% off of course!!

My new class starts tomorrow...I got a 4.0 this term!! Go me!!

So who would be in WDW 7/20-26th...any RCers....

Question...I know you can call and have a special celebration cake added and delivered to dinner somewhere...is it possible to get a re-creation of a dessert made 9 years ago when we were engaged? (Like I have a picture of it I could send or describe to them)

Is this that thread where I can report a resort change?

Doing the Sea Raycer split again, just changed our non-split to 6 days CR/CL then 6 days WL/CL. DH asked if he could ride the Blue Flag over from CR. I think that might be fun and I could drive the luggage over and he and DD can come through the back and meet me up front. DH changed his mind though and said he has to arrive in the front of the resort and take it all in

Janet: Dates are 7/28 - 8/3 CR/CL and 8/3 - 8/9 WL/CL.




Congratulations Miss 4.0!! You are AWESOME! So glad the MRI went smoothly and we eagerly await good news. Innkeeper's Club huh? Was it the BW Bakery re-opening that led you to book it?. I won't ask since you didn't want us to, but I sense a change might be in your future.

I Heart: Thank you for sharing your cute photos - what a photogenic family! How was the cake? It looks good enough to eat! BTW, all your photos are the same size now. Are you using Photobucket? I HATE the changes they've made - it's horrible now. I could never create a new resort thread again with it.

Yes, you can call the cake hotline to do a custom cake. I had my dessert party planner do the cake ordering for me so I don't know the exact process but I scanned a sketch and emailed it to her and got exactly what I wanted.

I know there is a thread somewhere here n the DIS about special order cakes. If someone here doesn't know it to give to you, trying searching for the cake thread. I'm sure you can get any info you need there!

So I slept on the couch last night from when DD went to bed (after I gave her a bath) until this morning about 6am. But I am feeling much better this morning! No more chills and now my stomach just feels empty. (I didn't even eat dinner last night) my head hurts, but that could be due to the hunger issue as well...

We are kind of shifting our focus to summer now! Summer in NH is fantastic, we've got beaches, mountains, and Red Sox games at Fenway, and the kids are looking forward to see what adventures summer brings.

Now I want to be at your house for summer. Sounds like a great place to be.

hi guys I am thinking that 2013 is the year to forget for our family! When it rains, it pours...... I don't know if any of you heard about the accident on the M62 in Pontefract, England. 20 people injured, 8 critically. One of those in serious condition was my hubby's cousin's X who has two little boys -- their mom has multiple serious injuries. Praying for her recovery.
As if that isn't enough bad news, our Corrections staff/ Remand centre has walked off the job. We are in a state of emergency with the corrections staff , police have been called in and management had to step up to deal with the prisoners. They are on lockdown. my centre where I work (young offender centre) has left the centre with only 6 managers on staff to man the situation....the staff walked out to show solidarity to the neighbouring remand centre.....I don't know what I am going to do on Monday if this continues! I am admin staff, but I don't want to be stepping on toes or crossing any picket lines! I hope it's settled soon...,its getting crazier by the hour -- inmates locked up, no nurses in the blg, no Meds dispensed, inmates are starting to go crazy getting agitated after being on lockdown so long! Soon, it'll get worse and worse -- hungry, unmediated, violent offenders does not make for a happy situation! Fingers crossed things work out soon.

I am so sorry. Your family has been through enough this year, and you deserve a break. When it's pouring like that around here, I tell the DH that I would rather no news or anything happen. That way, even though you don't get the good, at least you don't get the bad. I truly hope you get a break from it soon, I know it has to be stressful.

I'll try to catch up over the weekend between unpacking, and kid's commitments. I probably won't be able to post pics till they go back to school.

We had the absolute trip of a lifetime. I am so sad that it is over

Our vow renewal had a last minute change and was held over on Tom Sawyer's Island with BTMRR in the background. I was a bit disappointed to not get my castle pics, but it was wonderful nonetheless. The kids thought the scavenger hunt through the MK was the single best thing they have ever done at WDW. Well worth it!

The Dessert Party was awesome. We got 3D glasses that made all of the fireworks look like hidden mickeys. So cool! The desserts were AMAZING (except for the creme brulee which was horrible! It tasted like chocolate pudding. I have no idea what happened there. ) The view of Illuminations was to die for. I will totally be doing this again someday for another special treat.

The parks were so uncrowded, the weather was beautiful and everything just seemed to go right!

The big news.... we got the MOTHER LOAD of pixie dust! We were given the PRESIDENTIAL SUITE!!!!!!!! OMG. I can't even begin to explain how amazing it was. Two bedrooms, three bathrooms, full living room, full dining room, kitchenette, turret sun room, three balconies. Just the living space alone was bigger then the lounge! We did not want to leave!

All in all, this trip will be hard to beat. Of course, it won't stop us from trying!

I missed all of you! Can't wait to see what everybody has been up to!

We took advantage of living in South Florida today and got outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. I needed to pick up a pastry bag and tips at the cooking store which happens to be in a posh shopping/eating area today so we strolled around a bit, then headed to the nature center across from the beach, and finally ended the afternoon with a walk on the beach. Just a perfect Florida day

Well....packing up after another wonderful trip!!! We leave tomorrow night when the ME picks us up at 6:25 pm.

Just like last time...it was a great trip, but we are ready to go home! Tomorrow will be busy as we plan to hit AK to ride EE one more time and then book over to DHS to ride RNR and TOT again before heading home.

We had a great night at MK tonight. Spent alot of time in New Fantasyland. I have to say...I love the new additions. I wasn't sure about how Enchanted Tales with Belle would be based on what I have read, but I'll tell you, it had my jaw to the floor a couple of times...and in tears when DD6 got up on her own to go meet Belle....she's usually so shy but could not give up that opportunity...especially after watching DD8 who had gotten picked for the show (she played the silverware ). It was just wonderful.

BOG was fantastic. The food, the theme, the service...all fantastic. Again, because of the people on the Dis, as eager as I was to eat here, I was kind of expecting a mediocre experience, but it was absolutely amazing. We are all in agreement that BOG will be a must do for us again next year.

Well, it's late, and we have a long day of park hopping and then travel back home...we won't land in Boston until about 12:20 am

More trip details to come on Monday while I do boatloads of dirty laundry!!!

Sounds like another great trip. Maybe you'll get lucky and the laundry fairy will help you with it.

I can now say 33 more days for us!!! I am so excited to get away for a few days. I am just so fed up with daily life and stress here. Work, family, everything just seems to be annoying me. The stress is making it much harder for me to lose this weight, which makes me more upset because I hate how I look...an endless cycle. Ok enough of my pity party. I hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying their weekend.

I wish we were 33 days away from our trip. My sanity needs it.

Oh, one more thing. I was so happy to read that Cali Grill is slated to open in September. I saw kook post it tonight on the CR thread. I have never been there and I am so looking forward to it in October!

That is awesome. We ate there on our last trip, and it is on our my favorite places on the planet to eat. It may partly be due to the fact that we were seating near the windows during Wishes. The food was amazing!! Although I did learn that I cannot eat that much goat cheese that late at night without being up with refluxing/heart burn.

This Hosted Illuminations party is going to be at italy, prob in that area by the water and gondola. But we are leaning toward the regular Wishes Party.
