I think Eddie could take this. He seems pretty under the radar with the Favorites. Yeah, he's an outcast, but he's seen as non-threatening. Reynold is a much more overt threat.

And much as I like Malcolm, I'm not surprised they got rid of him when they could.

When Cochran was on the first time, I loathed him. This time, I'm him on to the finish! Editing? Probably, but that's okay. I like him-a lot. I wondered, too, why Malcolm just didn't keep looking. Maybe he thought he'd be there for another day If that is the case, he probably didn't tell his buddies. We should see Andrea looking hard next week.

I would like to see Dawn, Andrea and Sherrie all voted off - don't care what order just want them to be the next 3 to go. I am rooting for Eddie and Reynold as the underdogs, would love to see them go to the end. I like Cochran and wouldn't mind seeing him win just cause he loves Survivor so much!!!

So dissappointed that Malcolm got voted off. Think he made his move just a little too soon, should have hung back for a bit longer. Oh well.

I'm more shocked that the "3 amigos" allowed Cochran to buy the immunity challenge advantage for only $340!!!!! How does Eddie let this happen when he still had $500?!?!?

I'm wondering if he didn't have enough money. Probst always says that they don't show ALL of challenges so maybe he bought something and we didn't see it so he didn't have enough $$ to outbid Cochran.

Please someone get rid of Dawn and her incessant fake crying!!

Agreed. Although he did say that if he dug, Cochran and Andrea would've been digging right beside him. Still, if you find it, you're there for another tribal. If someone else finds it, you're gone. If no one finds it, you're gone.

So keep looking!

On another note. I was kinda surprised at the warm welcome 'Fillup' gave Malcom at Ponderosa. Phillip's still nuts but it was a stand up move, I thought.

I watched the after show with Malcolm. He said he had to quit looking because the majority were "pretty convinced" he'd found an idol ( this was all edited out ) and if he or even the other two amigos looked, they'd know he was lying. He'd hoped that if they believed he had an idol and split the vote (which he did) then hopefully he could have gotten either Sherry or Erik to vote with him and had the majority.

He also said that he did share the clue with Reynold, so even though Malcolm is gone, Reynold can continue to look for the clue himself.

dictionary.com has a pronunciation guide, I looked it up and there's a subtle difference between the way "don" and "dawn" should be pronounced. Should be the same for the proper names, I think.

Eddie was so cocky that he didn't think that Cochran could win, even with an advantage. I think that is why he didn't try to outbid him.

It must be regional bc they are not pronouned the same at all. aprilgail2 gave the distinction. My BFF growing up is named Dawn and it is pronounced D awe n .
