Each private car service I called works the same, limited hours as SAS - or has HORRIBLE reviews. I think I'll call SAS to ask their opinion - if I can reach them:confused3

If only I could win the lottery before the cruise...a private jet to the Walt Disney Suite would be great:):):)

I send SAS an email today. We are supposed to land on Sunday at 4:45PM. Who knows if we will be delayed or not with all the mess going on so I asked them if I'll still be able to use their service if we land after 6PM and they said no problem at all.

Cabin assignments? Oh no, that happened right when I left for work and went out for the evening! Updating the roll call now.

Personally, I am really happy but for one tiny detail - I wish we hadn't gotten a room with a connecting door since I am a bit wary of extra noise. On the other hand, a 5B on deck 7 forward, I am so much looking forward to it! Number is 7528.

Okay, can the cruise please start now? :yay:

Most of these services ask for your flight number and keep an eye on delays so that they are not sitting and wasting time.

Our stateroom is 6128. Port, right by the aft elevators. It would appear this is an upgrade from the 7A - navigator verandah we paid for to a 5C verandah! :cool1: Our friends traveling with us are right next door in 6126. :goodvibes

Oh how cool, 6128 is the room we have booked for the 2014 Westbound Transatlantic! Well, granted, that's on the Magic so it isn't exactly the room, but I would still love to hear how you liked it locationwise!

No, because I have three papers, a presentation, and two exams to complete before we leave. ;D

You poor thing! I guess the upside is I'm sure it'll keep you busy and the time will fly... I have almost nothing to do all week which makes the time crawl I can't wait till I'm crazy busy next week with last minute wedding and trip stuff. I'll be on the boat before I know it :thumbsup2

I know, but SAS Transportation is not taking any reservation for pick up if it's after 6PM, so I was worried.

Hey Jeff, Robin Here...

OK, hold the noise down....we are in cabin 6590, right below you , well maybe...

Question....do you need anything?
We'll be on the 4 day before this one, and we'll be in Key West and could pick something for you or your bride...

Just Let us know...Hope the House hunting got approved.

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

Hi Robin, looks like you've got a good cabin too. We're actually in 7570. Love the starboard side of the ship for Castaway Cay. Great view of the island.

Appreciate the offer on picking something up for us but we should be OK. We are flying in on Sunday before the cruise and a DIS friend is picking us up for dinner that night so we will have an opportunity to get some wine for on-board.

House hunting is actually pretty good. We are fairly settled that we are going to buy new construction in a development called Summerlake. Its about 2 miles north of the MK!

Looks like we are 5 doors down from you. We are 7580.:thumbsup2

We were deck 2 forward (large porthole cabin) for our Med. Cruise and loved the location ! Was quiet and convenient --would book it again !

can anyone make me feel better about deck 2 foreward?

We were in 2018 on a Mexico cruise last year. It was a great room and location! No issues with it at all. Nice and quiet. Even though the closet doors were banging one night, the motion didn't bother me at all the way it does in an aft cabin. I would be happy staying on deck 2 forward again.

I'll be happy to let you know what we think. Although....we are pretty easy to please! We have been all over the ship, front/back/middle - decks 2,5,6,7 and have never had a location we did not like.

The reviews say noise first evening and last evening with luggage being moved into the room across the hall. I don't think that will be a bother for us though since we are typically not in the room much those times anyway.

yahoo - we are #5628, we were on the other side of ship in a navigators before we cancelled and rebooked with the VGT discount - very happy!!!:cool1:

We got three adjoining 5As; I had heard that they try to keep linked rooms together but I was not getting my hopes up for all three in a row. So happy!

Wow... I see the cabin assignments are rolling in. I'll make the additions and get a new list emailed soon. Please make sure you PM or email me for the FE. Hope everyone is happy with their assignments. Glad they came out this week and not next! :goodvibes

We are super excited to have our first Veranda. Cat 5 - Stateroom 7094. :cool1:

This is our 5th cruise. We have had three prior inside staterooms and one Oceanview stateroom. We said we would never get an Oceanview again, as we didn't think it was worth the extra money.

We are glad we chose to switch to VGT, even with the not knowing where our stateroom would be. And we saved money too. :yay:

The Panama Canal is on my "bucket list" and we are excited to do it with a Veranda stateroom. :dance3:

I am a little worried :scratchin about going back to an inside stateroom for our next cruise, but I will enjoy the anticipation :rotfl: of our first Veranda now, and worry about the next cruise later! :thumbsup2

I am very close to my pre-cruise weight goal. :rolleyes1
I am jogging every other day now and got in a 5 mile jog today.

For the two weeks prior to our cruise I have given up dessert, which makes me a "little" grumpy. :crazy2:
