Hi Friends! Today we're checking out of the hotel and starting our trip back home. But I'm so happy to say that it has been a very successful trip. We have a nice home in a beautiful location. I'm really happy and thrilled.....and Monica is only four miles away.....so we have great neighbors too. haha.

Well... you know what I've been doing...

& for everyone else who didn't hear... I started WW on the 1st... so far it's about 7 lbs... I've had some tough days... but the sugar withdrawal is over and I'm sleeping much better... less pain over all...

My goal this week is to go to the gym 3 times this week...

Way to go! Keep up the good work!

Life with a kid. Too fricking busy. But in the month since I was last here, there have only been 8 pages, so I didn't miss anything because it's all stuff I heard about elsewhere.

Well... I just got off the phone with Emma....

I now have 2 of the best coaches I could ever ask for, for my WW experience... Maysie and Em are going to encourage me and help me through...

Of course I have to be in Jersey on the 30th and Em and I already made plan to go to MB&G for pasta night!!! (I do take a night off once a week...)

Hi Friends.....John and me are home again, but we have been sick. We're just starting to feel better again.

We are scheduled to go back to Florida on the 28th so that we can sign the lease on the 30th. I just emailed the property management company and asked if we could do the lease signing from PA. We're not planning on moving until the 15th. So that would be three trips down to Florida in a little more than a month. It's really starting to tax us....physically and financially. I would love to be there in person so that we could get the keys and go see the place again and take pictures, but we can wait until the 15th to do all of that. We need a break. Let's hope it's okay to take care of it all from PA.

Michelle, good for you, you GO GIRL!!!! I'm starting again when we get to Florida. I can't do it now with so much else going on. I need to focus on shopping and cooking WW, then it's easy to follow. We need to get moved first and then get settled. Hopefully John will then quit smoking and I can concentrate on getting healthy by losing weight. I'll be walking in my pool everyday.

Shell it's great that you can go to the gym and that you have two coaches there for you. You'll be successful, I'm sure!

Holly, I love all the things you do for LIFE WITH A KID. You're the best mom ever. Tyler will always remember these times with you....memories that last a lifetime. Keeping busy is a great thing too.

My cousin Doug, who shares a kid too, his son turned 18 in January and he's graduating in May. Then he leaves to go away to school in September. Doug is in awe that it went so quickly. He can't believe that the kid is grown and going out on his own now.

It goes by so quickly. It's great to make every minute count, like you do!!!

PS Cuzzie Doug is the one who lives in the house with the pool that you liked on FB. Doug's ex lives right down the road and Kyle still goes back and forth from mom's house to dad's house. I guess that will stop soon. He will live at school and when he comes home, he can choose where he wants to go. He'll go to Doug's house. He hates going to his mother's house. She's remarried and has two young kids. At Dad's house it's just him, Dad and Lorraine, Dad's fiance. Kyle is the only kid.

Thanks Deborah, Lisa and Holly for liking the house that we picked out. I can't wait to get there and live in it. Life is going to be like we're on vacation everyday......AND we're about 15 minutes from the mouse. (Mon, is that right?) .....AND Monica and Wil and Mickey are our neighbors. That's awesome!

AND we're right in between Uncle Teddy and cuzzie Doug. Uncle Teddy moved to Daytona Beach and Doug is still in Bradenton. So we're right in the middle of each of them. We can go see them at least once a month. I see lots of poker nights in our future at cuz's house.

My brother is still in Jacksonville. He's on vacation until the end of May. So we'll be moved in down there before he has to go back to work in Corpus Christie. We'll see him again, I'm sure.

Girls are great! Had them out selling their girl guide cookies on Saturday. Outdoor soccer season will be starting next month once all the snow is off the fields.
Shaelyn and I are off to a mother-daughter camp this weekend and Kaleigh will get a daddy-daughter weekend at home

Spring will come. The snow is now melting faster than its coming!

Hope your house hunt is going smoothly and there's more than one for you to look at!

Hi Shannon! Hope the girls are selling lots of cookies. How was your mother daughter camping with Shaelyn? What did daddy do with Kaleigh during daddy daughter time at home?

I'm so glad spring is on the way. Thank goodness we don't have anymore snow around here.

Thanks for your good wishes, our house hunting was very successful. We got to see four different places. We loved this one the most. We got a really good feeling when we walked inside it.

Deb, I can't imagine how scary this must be. And frustrating. I hope your doctor has some alternatives for you that will keep you healthy.

Fortunately I have enough meds to last until we get to Florida. After we get down there, I will deal with it. I can't even think about it right now. Way too many other things to do.

I talked to the management company today and they said it's not a problem. They said they will email attach it to us, we print and sign and mail back to them. I'll overnight it so I can track it. I'm sure they do this often. The owner of our house lives in England. They have to sign it also. So it's not a problem. Thank goodness. Now we can concentrate on finishing packing out this house.....we have one last room to do. I can get my list ready for the movers so I can get an estimate. I picked a different moving company. First I was going to use the company that moved us into this house. BUT Stacy on FB, an honorary Thief who we sailed with on the Tortola cruise, said that her family has a moving business. So I will use them instead. She said her uncle and father will come and do the job. I can trust that they will take care of my things. So I need to get a quote from them now.

I sent Uncle Baker a list of all my things that I'm going to move. He said they will send a small truck up my driveway to take to the big truck....a 70 footer. Wow that's big. It won't get up my driveway without taking down a few trees. I'll get a quote now and then a more real estimate on May 4th when he's in the neighborhood.

John said today, 'this is really going to happen.' Well of course it is darling! We're going to live in a beautiful house near the mouse. YAY!!

So I thought I was done with all my things and we only have John's stuff in the backroom left to do. NOPE! John pulled out three big suitcases that are all full of my clothes. They were in his room in the back. It's time to unpack them. Most will go to goodwill. But I have to go through them all.

Good afternoon Thieves.....I'm procrastinating. I'm supposed to be emptying out those suitcases. I don't feel like doing it. So I'm playing online instead.

I've been working on getting my new utilities accounts opened up. And I have contacted Stacy's family's moving company. I'm getting an estimate on May 4th. Everything is progressing nicely. Now me and John just have to take a ride into NYC to see our friend Sam and sell him some more of my old jewelry that I just found in the backroom. I had forgotten that I had it and I'll never wear it again, so I'll sell it and have some additional funds for the move. Let's hope he gives me a good amount.

Last night I was bored so I started looking online at stationery. I figured if I have a nice address then I should have stationery with my address printed on it. We're in a gated community.....The Sanctuary at West Haven. It sounds nice doesn't it. I want it on stationery. haha.

OK I went through the suitcases. YES I want to keep everything in them. But I'm not bringing those suitcases with me so I have to transport everything into packing boxes. I found a suitcase full of clothes from our cruise in 2008. It had the lifeboat tee shirt in it and the mexican dress blouse that I wore on mexican night....memories.

Hey Holly....

I made it to the gym yesterday!!!!!

Took me almost 2 weeks after joining of crazy anxiety... but I made it yesterday... not as bad as I thought. I took Maysie's advice and brought my headphones and hooked into the TV sets and watched the Ellen show. I did a total of 26 minutes on 2 machines including cool downs. Not bad for the first time out.

So far I'm down 8 1/2 lbs. I have to go look for a new pair of white shorts. I have all the other colors as the QM says "go shop in your closet..."...

Of course last night I was in incredible pain... My body isn't used to working like this... I imagine it will get better...
