Staying at Riverside : Show me pics, get me excited!!

Subbing...the pics are amazing...just booked POR for week of July 4th with the newly released AP discount! This is our favorite moderate resort!!! Cannot wait!!!

This was the oddest thing to see. I wasn't prepared to take photos so by the time I got everything out I had to photograph from the rear. We were coming back from downtown and entered the river portion from the lake area where you usually see some birds. I noticed all the birds were standing as if they were in a military formation.

On both sides of the river the birds were standing at attention, all facing the water, and all equal distance apart. I expected to see some sort of salute. All I can think of is that there must have been a high ranking bird on board our boat.

Most of the time I feel like pictures do not do this resort justice. I have to say though, several on this thread come very, very close! I wish I could pay one of you to follow my family around on our trip and take pictures for me. When I win the lotto, be expecting a phone call PizzaMan, or Kc Mike, Or Andre, or many of the others contributing to my POR photo addiction. Meanwhile, I am just going to keep forcing my husband to look at this thread with me everyday. He doesn't get excited about our trips until about 3 days before. Then the night before we leave he doesn't sleep at all and aks me a million questions. He is so funny, but I digress. Thank you all for these wonderful pictures. I never get tired of looking at them.

Where is this pool? We stayed in Dec in AB & I didn't check out rest of resort. Staying POFQ in Sept but toying with the idea of changing to POR RR.

Where is this pool?

I'm really sad that we're going to miss this resort this time around. We thought we had extra friends of my children coming with us so my wife had a friend who got us a steal of a deal at Bonnet Creek. These pics are killing me.

Thanks for the pics. I will be staying here in september only 147 more days to go. I have all my dinning ard's done. I have the royal guest room garden veiw booked and paid for. I'm starting to get homesick for riverside
