WBPC May 6th 2013 Wonder

Another duplicate that is on Facebook . . . . Just wondering where everyone is coming from. We live in Centennial, CO (southern suburb of Denver). Just wondering how many neighbors we have on board!

Scott is a born Hoosier, while I'm a transplanted Michigander - currently living in central Indiana.

Suitcases (1 checked bag each - either 1 or 2 carryons, hopefully!) are about 1/2 - 2/3 packed - need to try on dresses & bottoms one more time and make final decision on what gets packed - I've got my evening outfits decided on (there WILL be repetition - no judging!) - just need to figure out what I want to wear during the day!

FE gifts in pretty good shape - need to make a few more of the homemade item and decide whether to assemble ahead of time or once we get on the ship.

So I now realize that I am completely spoiled by Walt Disney World.

I booked 3 nights at Disneyland awhile ago thinking I would be able to see all of the evening shows only to check the schedule yesterday to find out that just one of the four evening shows will be held during my stay - "World of Color" which I am excited to see of course.

But I am so bummed about missing the "Mad T Party"! Plus it was such a surprise that there would be no fireworks at Disneyland. Maybe I am wrong but seems like Magic Kingdom has fireworks every night.

Oh well, this isn't that big of a deal just a slight disappointment and now I am trying to make new plans and have made some dinner reservations in the evening that I would not have otherwise.

But anyone else have suggestions for entertainment in the evenings at Disneyland?

Downtown Disney always has some performers out and about in the evenings. Have you been to DL before? DTD is right there in CA as opposed to a bus ride away at WDW. A stroll thru DTD always has some music we enjoy stopping and listening to. We are heading to bed by 11ish so we can be back in the parks at 9 when they open. So just an hour or so for us after park closing at 9.

That is definitely a plus that everything is walking distance I will definitely check out DTD. Thanks!

It is a shame you miss the fireworks with them only being on at the weekends at this time of year. I believe it is because DL is so close to residential areas, unlike Disney World, so they cut the times. I don't know why other shows aren't running during the week though. I really think the fireworks are better even than Magic Kingdom and I am sorry we won't get to see them this time. I think they should have the fireworks just because so many of us will be there!!! Both our last 2 PC's we docked at the weekends so managed to see them. At least you do get to see WOC which is very special.

78 degrees in North Georgia - MUCH better than upstate New York, from whence we came! Bid on a HUD house yesterday. Now the waiting begins.

Hello there, I would like to sign us up for the scavenger hunt and the PJ breakfast, but it says I cannot PM anyone yet.

3 of us: 1 adult, two kids (7&9) Casey, Chad and Noah
Room 6601

Also, I tried to find the facebook page, but I am not having any luck. Any advice?

And, what is the Jessica Rabbit thing?

Thanks so much!

No need to sign up for the PJ Breakfast. Just show up at Triton's in your pajamas at the specified day and time!

Hi Shelby,

I can't PM, but thank you so much! I talked to them about it and thought it was full so said we couldn't participate. We would like to if that's ok. Not that we need anything from anyone, but the boys and I are very big on blessing others. If you could send me a list of how many people that would be great. Can't wait to meet you :-)

Welcome! My son is just a bit younger then yours. I will add your names to the PJ breakfast this way I can let the dining room exactly how many people will be arriving in their PJs for breakfast that morning.

My mother lives in Denver.
My cousin lives just north of Boston.
I suffer it out in Jacksonville, FL, land of large snails, geckos, snakes, possum, vulchers (to eat the road kill), armadillos, and cockroaches the size of your hand. But also the land of Florida rate on DCL!

And no state taxes!

We went on sept to Disneyland and saw everything we wanted in 1 1/2 days. If you have never been you will be surprised. No comparison to wdw. We are going back so gran Shelby can see it. She works for wdw. We're staying at paradise pier . You might try downtown Disney. One tip . Get there early for world of
Color or get advanced seating .

This was true before they opened CARSLAND. That now takes some extra hours. Get there when DCA opens and get in line right away for fast passes for the racers. They are SO, SO worth doing. Get your fast passes for raceers then go get the advanced seating passes for WOC. So, a whole day at DCA now and a whole day at DL, if you have never been.
