I think the chances of a 5:30 5k are very small. It would be a mess, logistically.
Well if there is a timed 5k for Dopey at 5:30 before the family fun run 5k at 6:15 I will be running both. I signed DS6 and DS8 up for the 5k....they are NOT running that by themselves.

I guess enough people didn't like that - now they say that it will be at the same time with a 6:15am start But Dopey participants will have a times race.
Sorry for misleading anyone - looks like there may be changes as we go for this thing LOL
Someone from rD just told me 5:30. So I don't think anyone knows what's going on.
I really wonder if they thought this through who is supposed to watch the children if theres only one parent?
It would be so nice if they would have some sort of bib pick up prior to the 5k but if it is 5:30 then that make that even more difficult.
Chances are, if this is true, I am betting they allow single parents to run in the regular corrals. It just might not be timed.
Right, but you have to be timed to be Dopey.

I called the 407-938-3398 number and that's the update I got but I agree there is no way that parent's will not be running with their kids but the idea for the Dopey is to get a total time...I'm sure they will finalize things soon!
As it stands now we have until November 1st to email proof of time. I have a half marathon in mind prior to that date but I was hoping to use my time for the W&D for proof of time. Any word if Disney is planning on pushing that date back?
Okay experts, need some race planning advice...
What would you do with 4 weeks between 2 1/2 marathons? Assuming no injuries or other derailments, my training plan for Donald (race #1) would go up to 18 miles before tapering, with every other week a cut-back. Would you cycle down a week after, then go back up to 16-18 miles on the couple long runs before the second race, or just hang out around 12-16? Less? Not go up to 18 before the first race? Or is this just a stupid idea altogether?!
