Chance of Lightning & 25 Other Friends at Connor's First Birthday, Birthday Party!

So many Disney trips in the future. Awesome! :goodvibes I hope you do get the chance to do both Shangai and Hong King. Will you be visiting the Philippines too? There is a possibility that I may get to go to Disneyland Paris in 2014.

Crap complains that we never really take vacations outside if Disney, so I am only certain of the 3 we have deposits on for now. Everything else is constantly changing, so they are just plans for now. I would love to see a park during the opening year though, so I really want to go to Shanghai. We were going to take a trip to the Philippines in October 2010 for the one year anniversary of Lola's death. My employer was not doing well, so I held off on booking. In September, I ended up leaving (since they were no longer allowing me to work from home). I am glad we put the trip off, because we would have lost all of our deposits. I always wanted to go again sometime. Crap has NO interest if traveling there, so it may be many years before we go. He lived there for almost 2 years as a baby, but neither I nor the boys have been. I hope you do a trip report if you go to Paris. I would love to read about it.

Ron has only been to the Philippines once when he was a teenager and also has no interest in going back. He also thinks I would do horribly over there because I'm so picky with food (he may be right about that...). His parents still go almost every year though now that they are retired.

It sounds like a fun idea to go to a park the year it opens! How cool to say you were there. So funny, you say you only have three trips for sure. It's already three more than me. :rotfl: Paris is my only chance of seeing Disney in the next 3-4 years. It'll only be for a day or two, solo, while I visit my brother who will be working for one year in Europe. I'll be sure to do a mini TR about it though.

I am picky too, but I love most of the Filipino food I've eaten. My in laws have each been in the past few years but we've never gone with them. I know I will be able to talk Crap into a trip when the boys are older. I think that is a trip we will all appreciate more when they're older.

I hope you make it to Paris Disneyland hen you visit your brother. I just read on your report why you are waiting to travel again, and I understand.

Hi Kim

Nice to hear that you and your family had a great cruise on Wonder during Spring Break.

That is great news to hear that you will be at the DLR and attend MHP for your 10th year anniversary to Crap. Even great news to hear that Crap has some time off during your trip to the DLR that you will go to WDW after the DLR trip. I am excited for you and your family that you will visit both resorts during your trip. Can't wait to hear your plans for the WDW trip since you will be staying at PPH during your DLR trip.

There is a lot of trips on the work and hope that they do work out well.

Thanks Bret. We will be staying in a little mermaid room at the Art of Animation unless I come across extra money, in which case we will upgrade to the Cars Suite. I spent all night last night putting tentative plans together. The 180 day mark is just around the corner. It is almost time to book meals already!

I hope they work out too. Hopefully, you have more on the Horizon too as I enjoy reading about yours.

I heard a lot of good review about the Little Mermaid rooms. Hope you will have enough to upgrade to the Cars Family Suite during your trip. Nice to hear that you are at the 180 day mark where you can make your dining reservations at WDW. Have you and Crap decided what sit down restaurants you will be dining?

I only have three planned trips this year with the next month trip to the Walt Disney Studios and Archives tour, D23 Expo in August and the Holiday trip in mid November.

Thanks. I hope we can upgrade too. Crap never has any say in the planning. I do it all. So far I am thinking Club 33 or Napa Rose, Minnie and Friends Breakfast, Goofy's Kitchen, Surfside Lounge, Flo's, Spirit of Aloha, Tutto Italia and/or 1-2 F&W events, Landscape of Flavors x2, Typhoon Lillies, Chef Mickey's, Be Our Guest lunch, Be Our Guest dinner, Avalunch, Cosmi Ray's, Play and Dine lunch, Pizza Planet, Donald's Safari Breakfast, T Rex, Flame Tree Barbecue, Starring Rolls, Boardwalk Bakery, Beaches and Cream and hopefully more snacks at Epcot. It is possible a couple may change, but I am hoping this is close to the final list. It is pretty evenly split between TS and QS, so we bought the regular dining plan.

I ONLY have 3 trips planned too, although the Fantasy is next year. The others are just pre-planned. I love how you said only. Crap and I were just talking about vacations the other day. He said most families average less than one trip a year. I did not look it up but it sounds low to me.

That is nice that Crap will let you do all the planning during your trips. That is a lot of restaurants from both resorts that you want to do. There are a lot of restaurants that I want to try at WDW but they just don't have any availability on some since I don't do the dining plan or stay on-site. The one restaurant that I want to try at WDW whenever I go back is Be Our Guest Restaurant during dinner since I have heard good reviews about it.

On average of one trip per year does sound low for an average family. As you know that I like going to the DLR all the time. Even though it is a long distance from Sacramento to SoCal, I still enjoy driving down Highway 99 until we get to Anaheim.

I just booked the flights, which make breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen impossible. I promised Xander we would go next trip. Since we only have time for one breakfast at the resort, it has to be Minnie's. We have never missed eating there in any of Xander's six trips. It is a tradition. If we cancel Flo's, we can do a Goofy's kitchen dinner. The only problem is we only have one full park day thanks to DisneyWorld. Whenever we leave the park for dinner, it is very hard to get Crap back in it. He likes to tour at a leisurely pace. If I only get one full day and one party night, I want to be there from opening until close to closing time. I am really looking forward to Be Our Guest. I want to do QS lunch and table service dinner.

I wish I went to Disney as often as you do. A lot of people probably do. At least, I get to read about all of your lively trips, and they help me plan for mine. You are a great source of information, and a great friend for Disneyland advice.

I wanted to say hi! I got overwhelmed with life and school and the boards had to take a break! I hope the boys are doing well! Any new trips in the works?

We are looking at a possible trip for December! EEk!

I took about an 8 month break myself, so I understand. The boys are well. We are going to Disneyland and DisneyWorld this October. A December trip will be so much fun! Congrats on finishing the boards. I know you did well. Happy Mother's Day.
