So is the rumor that the Free Dining for Moderates will only be the quick service plan? I sure hope not! I am hoping to stay at POR with free regular dining the week of Labor Day.

Hello TheDisney411!!! Any guess (no guarantees implied) on when we "MIGHT" hear about possible dates for a late summer discount? trying to wait patiently, I swear!

Yes there is basis to that statement as my BB for free dining indicated that on the flyer ! When I asked about Moderate They told me it was QS same as Value. Thus I picked POP and upgraded! I December BB only Deluxe was standard dining ............

Actually there is.. It's what has been offered this yr for UK residents I've seen it myself..

Actually, the fall bounceback did include the full dining for moderates.

We got that same bounce back in December and it was Quick Service for values and regular/basic DDP for moderates and deluxes.

That's what's been offered to UK visitors multiple times in the past and it never has and still has no baring on free dining promos for US residents.

A lot of Disney blogs and sites are leaning towards April 25, a few are saying May 16. I think both of those dates are pretty credible predictions - definitely no later than May 16.

I called April 25th for Disney visa holders since they almost always release those on Thursdays. That would leave the 29th for public release. I haven't heard the May 16th date but that too is a Thursday which would indicate the same deal as above with public offering the following Monday.

this might be a crazy question but does anyone know if airfares go up once the the FD is announced. Right now I can book from NY Islip for 110 each way. I want to book my flights while they are this low -- but am worried about the dates. If I book for aug25th do you think i am safe

I called April 25th for Disney visa holders since they almost always release those on Thursdays. That would leave the 29th for public release. I haven't heard the May 16th date but that too is a Thursday which would indicate the same deal as above with public offering the following Monday.

Yes, I do also think that will be the date for Disney Visa holders. I'm leaning towards the April date, but they've done May releases twice with free dining, so there's some validity there. But April 25 or May 16, I definitely think that would be for the Disney Visa holders.

Are you planning on going either way? If so, book. Those are great prices from NY. But if you are only going if FD is offered, then I would wait.

If you arrive the day before it starts, you could split the stay and do a room only for the first night and then book the package as a 2nd reservation. Out of luck when it ends before you arrive .... But you can split stays for a discount that starts during your visit.

We usually get air from Islip or JFK depending on price. In all the years I've been, I've done better booking earlier rather than later. If prices go down, you may be able to get a lower rate. It sure beats prices going up

Anyway, my husband has got it in his mind that we will take our first long road trip down in September.. He loves road trips! Where I'd rather sit down for 2 and a half hours and be at MCO on the way to Magical Express.. But then again marriage is all about compromise.. So, I keep telling myself. Self, do not complain..
