A round zucchini? Did you work out what sort it was?
A friend sent me a link. It could be that I guess. Knowing me I've picked up a punnet of round ones by mistake.

My saga with the sick dishwasher is nearly at an end. I think I mentioned that we were looking for a new dishwasher on this thread at the weekend.
Our current dishwasher is 15 years old. A well loved member of my kitchen and well used and abused.
We realised there were a couple of things wrong with it when it wouldn't start up about a month ago. And as I have a philosophy of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it or replace it", we decided to get the Service guy out.
The call out was $$$ and there were a few things wrong with it. Fixing it would have cost $$$$.
So, we went looking. Turns out to replace it with a brand new model would have meant spending twice the cost of fixing it. And we would have fixed it......
IF......
....if I hadn't remembered that that particular manufacturer warehouse was not 7 km away from us. So, I coerced DH to go visit the warehouse today.
They had a showroom and when they heard what we told them about our current machine (and we really wanted to buy a replacement model in their brand rather than getting a different brand), they offered us a new machine at cost. It's 45% off the retail price.
O.M.G. It's a little more than the cost of fixing the existing machine; but not enough for DH and I to ask where we sign on the dotted line.
Even better....they will come tomorrow, deliver and install plus remove the old machine. Free.of.charge.
Nice start on your garden. DH planted a few items for us last weekend. I can't wait for it to start producing.
I scored some good car rental rates for DL ($108) and the Big Island ($137) for May.

That's so great! I miss our dishwasher that we put in our last house. I can't wait until we have the money to renovate this one. I'm putting in a double Fisher and Paykel dish drawer next time.

A lovely windy day here today but still warm. I'm looking for cooler weather so I can try out a new jacket I bought. Maybe I can take it to a supermarket and stand in their cold room for a while

I'm so glad it's Friday night. This Old Fogie sure needs to catch up sleep this weekend.
Me too (says she who is still online at 10.30pm )
But, I've got a protest rally/march on tomorrow afternoon and I had to bribe DS with a trip to the beach afterwards to get him to agree to go with me - and tell him that he can hide under his hat in case the media was there so he couldn't get spotted on tv by his friends so no sleeping in for me tomorrow.
Very nice! Which company?
Budget in SNA (OC) and Alamo in KOA (Big Island)

A protest rally? Which one??
It's to protest the escalating rate of juvenile crime here that seems to be treated lightly by magistrates. We have one of the highest rate of car theft in the State and juveniles currently make up a high proportion of those arrested for car theft, break and enter etc, yet most times the people are released on bail (which they soon breach) or given a fine or community service (which often goes unpaid or not completed). I had my car broken into a few years ago; it was a young boy, possibly 13 (according to the witness) and he is suspected of having committed a number of break-ins that day. It cost me almost $500 to have the damage to my car repaired plus replace what was stolen. A year later I was still finding bits of smashed glass in my car! It was not worth claiming on insurance To my knowledge, the child was never punished for his actions.
