Positive thoughts and Prayers for the 4 year old who almost drowned

This story has touched many of us. There's nothing wrong with caring about the outcome. IMO

Lord knows, I don't want to start ANY debate....but I do want to urge this mother to be gentle to herself. But for the grace of god, this could've happened to our son just a few weeks ago.

I lost sight of our mercurial 3 year old in a frenetic and overcrowded cruise pool for just an instant to attend to our baby.

We may never know exactly what happened...but my heart knows this mother wants nothing but to love and protect her children.

If you're talking about that article you linked to, the reference to the boy getting lost was in reference to the boy who drowned at Pop Century, not this boy.

A 4-year-old boy who was flown to an Orlando hospital Saturday after being pulled unresponsive from a swimming pool aboard a Disney cruise liner was alive today, but his condition remained a secret.

The child was taken by ambulance to Cape Canaveral Hospital then flown by helicopter to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

A hospital spokesman today would not release the child's condition, but Disney Cruise Line spokeswoman Rena Langley confirmed that he was alive and that his parents are still in the Central Florida area.

As much as I want to believe that no news is good news...given what I've read about near drowning in the last few days, I just don't know that that's the case.

This poor little unnamed boy has weighed so heavily on our minds so much. I bet not a waking hour has gone by since I heard about it on Saturday at 4:00, that I have not thought of him, prayed for him and searched out Good News about him. Will keep the vigil for him. Why don't we all light a candle for him at our homes tonight? Can you guys join me?

All I can find it that Stutzman from the Orlando Sentinel wrote yesterday
(4/3/13) that she confirmed he was still in the hospital but no status on him other than that.

I keep praying for great news.

We Disney Fanatics share a huge common love for everything Disney. We know we are a special breed. We all feel so connected, as we "get each other". This is why the Fish Extender's and cruise meets are so nice...it's like meeting the rest of your Disney Family!!!

I had gotten off the Fantasy a week before this happened. The Fantasy is a home I have lived on for 28 nights. It feels like this happened at my "Home". It tears my heart out, as he (and I don't even know his name) feels like my family as well.

I think this is why, as well, others have been so deeply affected.

I am not real good at putting thoughts into written words, but this was my attempt.

God Bless him and his family.
