Cindy I wil keep everything crossed for you and hubby. I would so love to move out there. With my career I could but DD dad is here and my DB children are only young and I cld not take him away from them. His mon lives in south carolina so at least we have the chance of going. X

just spotted they were out early-been without the internet for over a week :(
what did people used to do before the internet? :rotfl2:

pleased theyre out but no dining discounts, so hopefully will see what happens the next month or so and work out our plans then.

Off to OZ in a couple of days :cool1:

My kids can't last more than an hour without internet access if they're at home, but can happily live without when out and about- but dh is the worst! :rotfl2:

We're still waiting too. The prices on the Disney UK site are INSANE :rotfl2:

I may be optimistic but I do think they'll come down. They'll have to. No-one will book at those prices.

For me and DBF, without flightsfor 2 weeks at CSR with DDP, it was coming out at £3500. I'm gonna have to sell a kidney at this rate :confused3

Park tickets are up, Dining Plan prices are up (and more people, more days = more additional increase) and resort prices generally do go up too. I don't think the room only is up THAT much. I am looking at June/July which is not value season comparing with prices I paid for last year in September which is much cheaper and there is a significant difference, but when I worked out what it would be with just the room and tickets (based on last year's ticket prices) it wasn't actually as bad as it looks. I did NOT add DDP to my quotes as I am assuming that at rack rate they are either going to offer free dining, which I will take, OR they are doing away with that or limiting the qualifying period for it and putting in percentage room discounts instead, in which case we will skip the DDP and go with the discount.

We won't know til they finish the current 2013 promo in April. More patience required .... urgh!

Even with free DDP some of those prices are crazy.

Just priced Yacht/Beach cub for 7 nights in Aug £2,051 less 3% Quidco = £1,989

Same 7 nights this August £1,274 less 3% = £1,235
Or with Expedia £1,098 using 10% code WEEKENDTREAT less 12% Quidco if tracks = £966

Hi everyone I'm new here!

Couldn't agree more with wayneg - last year I had priced up the Beach Club for two weeks this July for 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers) and with the free DDP and the 14 day ultimate ticket it was approx £4500.

We decided not to go this year and to wait until next year when the new Fantasyland is finished and I have just priced for next year and its coming out at £5048! That's over £500 more expensive which to me just seems a ridiculous increase.

At those prices I think we will probably have to cut a couple of days of the duration of our holiday or stay at a moderate resort. We have stayed at POR twice before but really had out hearts set on the Beach Club for our next trip.

Last year we paid £3,285 for 21 nights at OKW & 3 x 21 day tix.
For this year was around £3,800 so we decided to go back to offsite, hotel I am considering is £693 incl breakfast, 3 x 21 day tix = £840, 21 days dining = £1,260. Total £2,800, approx. £1,000 less than onsite. No doubt when they release OKW prices for next year the gap will be even bigger.

Apparently free dining for 2014 will be released on 25th April.

Had a look at wdw UK site, okw prices were available for January-per night:

Studio-£235

1 bed villa-£322

2 bed villa-£467, so we won't be booking okw if that's anything to go by.

Interestingly,por/pofq are more expensive than csr and cbr.:goodvibes

Actually Wayne, you're right! With apologies, after checking I had assumed it was Just the school holidays pushing our price because when I dummy booked the same dates as last year and went back to my invoice from last time, I had added in tickets from last year's prices with my comparison and not when doing it on the dummy quote for next year.

Hi wayne, do you get free parking with this tix or will you have to pay to park? We stayed off site last time and at $15 per day we found that quickly mounted up? Still quids in compared to on site but I think (if they don't already) they should offer a discount for big tix like those.

Not Wayne, unless he's had some reconstructive surgery! :rotfl2:

But 21 day ultimate tickets do not grant free parking.
Only annual passes or staying onsite.:)

Parking is not included but last year we upgraded to AP then they include parking, might upgrade 1 ticket, not sure yet.
Its not too bad even if we pay, 2 families so it only works out at £5/family/day. We have AP's for all the other parks so no other parking fees only Disney.

You upgraded a uk ticket? Thought there was no such thing as an upgrade for the 14 or 21 day ultimate tickets?

Again,not Wayne ! :lmao:

You can go to guest services and pay to upgrade your ticket(s) to annual pass(es)..:)

You can upgrade Ultimates to APs however not all CMs know how and you will get different prices from everyone...

Maybe you should start an account wayneg2 :rotfl:

As said its possible but as Tracy points out its not straight forward, I got about 4 different prices, some saying I couldn't do it and others saying I could only upgrade to Premium AP. You have to spend time getting the deal you want.

Just an update-requested a quote from ocean Florida- but never got one- which is interesting as some folk already booked with them.

Looking forward to wdw UK releasing prices.:)

I've had a quote from them with guaranteed free dining plan (regular plan as quote was for The Yacht Club) guaranteed flight prices with Virgin and Disney tickets quoted at 14 day Ultimate for the price of 7 days. If you like the details of the chap that contacted me just PM me
