This is a Grizzly Challenge Trail View

This is a Paradise Pier View

I think that's how you do it. I believe there are only about 10 rooms on the top list. I forget if the one bedrooms end in 02 or 04, but it goes something like this. 6502, 5502, 4502, 3522, 3502 (those are the only ones with a paradise pier view. If you go lower than the 3rd floor you only see trees and fence anything that ends in odd numbers is a pool view and anything 16 or 20 is Grizzly Peak View. There are only 23 units on 6 floors so 12 have a pool view, 4 are non pool, floor 2 or below, so that only leaves 7 units with a PP view. I guess I'm missing 4522 in that list.

This is Grizzly Peak, this view is from a regular hotel room not a DVC room. It is one of the features of the park. Grizzly Rapids is like Kali Rapids, but smaller.

Oh ok now that is a pretty cool view...... so I don't know if I will be going on that one since I hate to get wet... BUT since the room is so close I could just go change after and throw my clothes in the dryer!!!

I modified my post, the view from the VGC Villa was not Grizzly Peak View, it was Grizzly Challenge Trail view.

That is one nice thing about the hotel being so close, you can just come back after getting soaked and change!

That view of the peak was from the east facing hotel rooms on the building that you could see from my DVC room view, the picture with the pool in it.

We have done just that before. We stayed at GC with the kids in Sept once and ran into DCA to get FP for GRR. Then we played in the pool until our FPs came up. Dried off, threw on flip flops and cover ups, rode the ride and then went back and hopped back into the pool

We can do a day trip, but I really don't want to be out there in the Summer heat and crowds. We're thinking of coming up your way possibly and doing a mountain trip, don't remember where exactly, gold country or something. We need some non Disney trips.

Tina, hope you and DH are doing better today. Have you heard anything from the insurance? Have you tried any of the local pawn shops, to see if any of the equipment has shown up?

I've got some good news... my entire stay at the Grand Californian is booked! Man I feel kinda silly calling everyday since I can look online and see the whole week is available... but how would I have known that? hehe

Why wouldn't they get the $5000 if the equipment is worth more than that?

Oh no... both of you! Did you eat something, you think? Or do you think it's feeling sick over the robbery?

Because from their point of view, the equipment isn't new, so of course, they won't reimburse them for the full price.

I figured it out. We don't eat much meat...for Easter, my family had grilled bologna and roasted pork, both really rich.. We had a lot of the bologna, and I had some of the pork..

Feeling better today.

They got a quote,I don't remember a number, but it's not much.

They went to some shops yesterday, stalking craigslist, and putting the word out, too.

So they don't have replacement cost? On my renter's insurance I paid extra for replacement cost so we can actually replace the items we lose instead of just getting whatever the ins co says their worth is :/
