You Guys Part of the Family? You've Got the Magic In Your Eyes!!->Updated 10/19x3!!!!

I love that the castle’s different colors is more like “dark/evil/Halloween” colors rather than it’s usual friendly looking colors that it is during Wishes!

It’s hilarious when you don’t realize how adjusted your eyes are to the dark, and little flashes of light when some of the bigger fireworks go off and you’re all “ASADKSLMFG BRIIIIIGGGHHHT”

267-1.jpg

268-1.jpg

Wow…I did not realize quite how many firework pictures I had, and this is only a fraction of them! Baha!

272-1.jpg

273-1.jpg

274-1.jpg

275-1.jpg

I love those ones, it just frames the castle just right and I love the picture that comes out of it (if you’ve got a good camera and some skillz. Ahaha)

277-1.jpg

278-1.jpg

It definitely got bright around the end of the show, I also absolutely loved that fireworks were going off all around the hub, beside and behind us as well as beside the castle where they usually are! Reminded me a lot of Disneyland’s firework show, and it just made me happy, it also made for an awesome finale!

YAYAYAYAYAYAYA *MUPPET DANCE* (Danielle….I’m looking right at you…)

P.S. all those photos, either taken by my Iphone or my Mom’s camera (pretty sure it has a firework setting….my camera doesn’t, I tried a couple of photos on my camera and they just didn’t turn out well)

After the show Mom and I stuck around in the hub for a bit as we had some more characters that we hadn’t gotten to before that we wanted to make sure we saw, as they’re usually really fun to hang out with for a bit! Mom also found the cute little statues were even changed out for Halloween!

285-1.jpg

Oh Minnie, you’ve always been a princess to me! *sobs*

Photo0292FourBySix.jpg

Am I excited?! Of course, we’re up to meet the Tremaines! Drizella immediately started chatting with Mom and Anastasia and I held up the other end of the talking. Ooops for their Mom bahah!

Photo0293FourBySix.jpg

Photo0294FourBySix.jpg

Drizella asked Mom if she was running late (seriously, she got that question like a MILLION times that night and by the end of it was kinda getting annoyed, but hey, she brought it on herself! Lawl) Mom explained that she was in fact running late, as she had lost her clock! Drizella then proceeded to point out that Mom had her watch on….

Photo0295FourBySix.jpg

Anastasia and I meanwhile talked about various things, princes, how they don’t exist, costumes, Halloween, etc. Then someone came up to the garbage can that was beside them and threw something away rather loudly, and Anastasia turned to me and was all “Apparently they put us by the help” Lawl. That sucks, but hey, Karma, am I right?

Photo0296FourBySix.jpg

Photo0297FourBySix.jpg

Mom of course, was then explaining that she had a big clock, not just an actual watch to help her tell the time, but it had fallen off earlier and she had lost it (and the pin back!) and was all sad about it. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a whole lot the Tremaines could do for her!

Photo0299FourBySix.jpg

286-1.jpg

Yay! Super awesome character meet, I was really happy to see that characters were just as awesome interacting with Mom as they were with me, or with a small kid (most of them that is haha)

Since it was nearing time for the second showing of the parade, we found a nice spot over on Main Street, and took a seat on the curb to wait for a bit! Completely unbeknownst to us, we had sat down beside a man dressed as the Hatter! WHAT WHAT!? (Also, any of you Once Upon A Time watchers…Jefferson…uuuuggghhh) He was super friendly and awesome, we hadn’t noticed the costume as he hadn’t been wearing the hat or jacket when we sat down. Luckily, he insisted on a picture, and got all dolled up again to get one with Alice & the White Rabbit, it was great!

287-1.jpg

288-1.jpg

I love all the Jack O Lanterns around Main Street! I like that they have the entire park decorated for “fall” all the time, but then add a bunch of special stuff for Halloween parties only. Also, can we talk about the fact that they have a MNSSHP, and then OVERNIGHT take down EVERY LAST “fall” decoration, and the NEXT DAY it’s FREAKING CHRISTMAS….EVERYWHERE. Whatever magic elves have that job really do their work well!

289-1.jpg

290-1.jpg

Pretty colors and pumpkins, you’ve won me over!

291-1.jpg

They had this cute little thing moving down the parade route, in front of the Headless Horseman that really, well, kept you occupied while you waited for the parade. They had one guy on mic, and a few dancers, who would teach you a little movement combo and then have you do it a couple times, have a little dance party, and then move down the street a little more. It was cute, but neither of us got up to dance, bahha!

292-1.jpg

Uhmmm…hey Batman…I think you might be needed…

293-1.jpg

294-1.jpg

I LOVE THESE COLORS. Dear Disney, please do it all the time, love Katt!

Here’s another interactive update: Click this link:

http://www.youtube.com/user/undercovertourist?v=DHWUSGfmCOI

As the parade was nearly about to start, it was, of course, time for the Headless Horseman to come down the parade route to kick things off!

295-1.jpg

297-1.jpg

A pretty awesome event it is! He definitely goes slower than one would think, but I mean, it’s a real horse, and the guy can’t see whatsoever, so of course he’s going to be slower. Also, the horse is seriously HUGE, scary thing! Soon enough they were pumping in the parade music and we were dancing along to the “Boo To You” songs!

298-1.jpg

301-1.jpg

Our doppelgangers! Yay! Hahha

302-1.jpg

303-1.jpg

Some more rare characters out and about for the parade, it makes me happy! Also, the costumes on the rest of them are super cute!!

304-1.jpg

305-1.jpg

Princess Daisy, Bee Pooh Bear, Pirate Tigger! Yayayayaya!

306-1.jpg

307-1.jpg

308-1.jpg

LOOK AT HOW CUUUUUUTE HE IS!!

309-1.jpg

Rabbit! He’s never out, so good to see him now!

310-1.jpg

311-1.jpg

312-1.jpg

313-1.jpg

First we have some goofy pirates coming around to say Hello to everyone!

314.jpg

315.jpg

But watch out! There’s some scary ones on their way, better watch out for those ones!

316.jpg

317.jpg

319.jpg

Clearly, they’ve replaced the dancing with pirate flag twirlers….is that what they’re called? Baha. I have no idea, but it was pretty cool, it was something new that you don’t really see a whole lot of around Disney! It did make me wonder if they hired people specifically for flag twirling, or if they trained people for the parade!

320.jpg

321.jpg

Barbossa! It made me laugh that he’s just kinda sitting there, but hey, this guy’s legit!

And of course, we saved the best pirate of all for the very end of the pirate brigade! Jack!

323.jpg

I don’t know why, but I’m just never really that impressed with the Jack’s they have, I don’t know why, but they just don’t seem that legit to me. Meh.

324.jpg

326.jpg

327.jpg

328.jpg

329.jpg

Creepy! These guys certainly are in character, I mean, they’re grave diggers, they’ve gotta be creepy! I love this part of the parade, the whole Haunted Mansion section is just fantastic!

330.jpg

331.jpg

332.jpg

UGH! These guys are seriously my absolute favorite, hands down! I would absolutely love to be one of them, it would be TOTALLY AWESOME! ZOMBIE BALLROOM DANCING! UGH! Also, another fantastic Halloween costume! If I had been to more MNSSHP, I definitely would have dressed up as one of them, especially if I had a partner!

333.jpg

334.jpg

335.jpg

336.jpg

They also re-did the “western” section a little bit (or at least I’m pretty sure they did, I don’t remember it being like this last year) they have a bunch of cowboys dancing with lasso/ropes. I really enjoyed it, they were super high energy, and seriously, coming from Alberta, cowboy central of Canada, there’s just something really attractive about a Cowboy, ahaha!

337.jpg

338.jpg

339.jpg

The costumes these girls have on are also super cute, ugh, seriously, absolutely everything about MNSSHP makes my life so much better, they’re so amazing!

340.jpg

342.jpg

343.jpg

It’s time for all the Villains to come out to play, look out, they’re coming out to play for the Halloween festivities!

344.jpg

345.jpg

346.jpg

And of course to finish off the parade is Goofy and all his CANDY! It makes me happy that they give away so much candy, ugh, soooo maaaannnyy sweeeeetttttsss!!!

347.jpg

It kinda irked me as we were near the end of the parade route, people were following the parade out of the park, and had gotten candy already, and then shoving their arms/hands through between us and attempting to get more candy, they were just being super rude about it. However, most of the CMs noticed this and were all “Nope”. Baha!

348.jpg

349.jpg

THE END! Of course we both loved the parade, it’s full of super cute characters, lots of amazing music and awesome-ness all together!

350.jpg

Mom and I were feeling festive, but also starting to get tired, it really had been a super long day, and going until midnight after being up at 7:00 in the morning, that just doesn’t really work out haha! I had one more thing I wanted to do before leaving though, and that was head back over to Alice to say hello again and get some awesome pictures!

Photo0301FourBySix.jpg

We didn’t have to wait long, and I think she recognized me, I briefly stated that I had wanted to come back again to get some pictures with her, and of course I wanted to see her too! The main purpose of going back again was to get some pictures of us spinning!

Photo0302FourBySix.jpg

351.jpg

Photo0303FourBySix.jpg

Photo0304FourBySix.jpg

She was super awesome and adorable and just perfect (also TINY) we spun and spun and spun and SPUN. Seriously, so much spinning, we were both super dizzy and nearly falling over when we finished! Her handler seemed to be a little concerned about either of us getting hurt if we fell, and the photopass seriously seemed to just not care. I get that it was the end of the night, but I was disappointed that there weren’t more pictures of the spinning, booooo!

352.jpg

Photo0306FourBySix.jpg

We posed with our skirts out, acting super cute and adorable, and then she said we had to do one more that we were thinking before I could leave!

Photo0309FourBySix.jpg

353.jpg

Don’t ask me why Mom didn’t move over to get different/better pictures, baha! I can’t speak for her weirdness lawl. Alice was seriously absolutely amazing, she was very interactive, friendly and just plain awesome! We said good bye to her and Mom and I headed out of the park, it was time for SLEEP! We both had gotten a lot of candy throughout the few trick or treat stops as well, Mom said she was going to give hers away on actual Halloween, I asked if she wanted mine too, but she said no so I tossed mine out after picking out any of the good candies! Lawl. And that, was the end of our night at MNSSHP!

Wow so many updates yay!

I adore the pictures of Hallowishes! I've been watching youtube videos every chance I get and your pictures are awesome!

Ah the stepsisters! They're so amazing-- I love it.

The parade looks spectacular. I love the different characters and the Halloween costumes. Especially on the Pooh characters!

Aw what a great idea to take spinning pictures with Alice. They came out so cute!

AHHHH so many wonderful pictures.

I had just commented on the other TR about the lack of step sisters and then YAY, here they are!
They are definitely in my top 3 of M&G's Just too much fun.

Dual twirling Alice's = Awesomeness. Very cool. :thumbsup2

Those were some epic updates! They made me so excited for my October trip. If you can believe it, I've never heard the soundtrack for Hallowishes. I've got it bookmarked now and will be listening over and over until October!

I know, right?! I figured they all kinda went together, and it was lots of pictures but not lots of detail bahaha, so I just posted all of them. The parade is fantastic, so awesome, my favsies for sure!!

Thanks!! I wish we had more, but I do like the ones we got!

Hahanthanks!! Ugh, fall in Disney is beyond amazing! It's so fantastic, the decorations, the halloween, the special stuff, AND you guys will be there for food and wine, won't you?! ACK! eat some delicious things for meee!

It was the 5th day of Mom’s and I’s trip, and after a long night of MNSSHP, you would think that maybe we would have had a late start and sleep in a bit, right? Well….YOU CAN SLEEP WHEN YOU’RE DEAD! NO SLEEPING IN DISNEY!! Mom and I were up bright and early, somewhere between 7:00 and 7:30 as we had an early breakfast to get to!

After a quick bus ride, we got into the Magic Kingdom right on time, and even had some time to spare for some photopass pictures on the way in!

Yay! Gotta love an empty Main Street early in the morning, thank goodness for pre-park opening breakfasts!

Photo0315FourBySix.jpg

Photo0317FourBySix.jpg

In case you couldn’t tell the direction we were going this morning, we were headed over to Crystal Palace for a breakfast with the Hundered Acre Wood Gang! I have eaten both breakfast and dinner here before, and much prefer breakfasts, especially before the park has opened!

We arrived right on time, and got checked in right away, and didn’t have to wait very long at all before they were calling us in to the restaurant! They sat us on the right hand side of the restaurant (when you enter, turn right) along the little wall across from the windows. Our server was around quickly, explained everything and that Pooh was coming up pretty quick so he advised us to wait for Pooh then go up to the buffet, and that was what we did!

1-1.jpg

2-1.jpg

SO CUUUUUUUUUTE!! We thanked Pooh and as he went on his merry way, we booked it up to the buffet, I’m not sure about Mom, but I was absolutely starving at this point, and couldn’t wait to get some food in my belly!

3-1.jpg

Starting at the very top, we’ve got some: Pooh’s French Toast, grapes, cheese, watermelon, cheesy potatoes, and some smoked salmon! The first time I ate here, they had chocolate Mickey waffles, so I was on the hunt for them, but still to this day haven’t seen them anywhere! I also noticed that the potatoes were different than last time. On a second plate that I horribly didn’t take a picture of, I had some breakfast lasagna as well!

I got back to the table before Mom did, I’d kinda lost her somewhere around the buffet, don’t know how haha, and had just started to dig in when Eeyore came by! Thankfully there was a server right in the area who took a picture for me with the gloomy guy!

4-1.jpg

He’s so cute! Mom arrived shortly after, saying that she had gotten a custom made omelet, and it had taken far longer than she thought it would, seriously, HOLD UP there! This is why I don’t get omelets at buffets! I informed her that she had missed Eeyore, and she said she had been able to tell, but would probably ask a CM afterwards if he would be able to swing by the table before we left! Piglet came by next!

5-1.jpg

6-1.jpg

Oh Piglet, you are so cute! I wonder how he feels with everyone eating bacon while he’s coming around to say hello to everyone! Bahahaha….. After Piglet came by, obviously, I was very excited for Tigger, he is my boyfriend after all, ahahaha, and the Tigger that was out and about was bouncing pouncing all over the place and I was excited to meet such an enthusiastic one! However our breakfast date would have to wait, as it was time for the little Friendship parade! Yay, so cute! I like that they do things like this at the meals, and that everything stops for this one so you’re not trying to focus on more than one thing at once!

When the parade was finished, all the characters went into the back for a moment, and then came back out, and it was obvious (to me at least) that there was a different friend hanging out with Tigger now, and he wasn’t as bouncy as the other one. Boourns. However, he was still coming over to our table next, and was still great!

7-1.jpg

8-1.jpg

Kisses!! Yay!! Apparently that’s the only picture we got this time around….oh well…we’ve got enough together by now baha!

9-1.jpg

10-1.jpg

Look how happy she is! UGH. These moments, like seriously, the moments that the person you’ve brought to Disney clicks with the magic, they get it, they’re happy, they’re a kid again, and forget about all the troubles, all the real life, like, screw it, we’re in a land where fairies and princesses roam and the animals talk, and magic is alive, and that’s the most magical part! (Ugh, can’t even think about it without tearing up…..)

Once Tigger moved on, Mom moved along to grab a CM to ask about Eeyore, and they said once he was done his round, before his break for thistles, we could say hello quickly! YAY! Now came the tedious part, I feel like we waited for FREAKING EVER to get the bill at the end of the meal, like, seriously! Once it finally came over to us and we signed everything away, we headed over to meet Eeyore!

11-1.jpg

12-1.jpg

Again, super cute and awesome, he signed Mom’s book and then posed for some pictures, and of course, this gave Mom the chance to say “I thought I’d missed you for good, and now I’m all gloomy”

13-1.jpg

Crystal Palace Review
3/5
-It takes WAY to long to get bills/drinks
-Servers at buffet restaurants seem to disappear too often
-Food quality has gone down in the last year
-Glad that we could Eeyore after he missed Mom, thanks to the CMs for that one!
-Breakfast lasagna was the best food that I had eaten, the grapes & cheese were pretty good.

Mom and I thanked the CM with Eeyore, and made our way out of the restaurant, since breakfast was around 8:20, we were out after the park had been open for a little bit, that was quite alright with us though, because we were actually heading OUT of Magic Kingdom! Yup, it certainly was going to be a busy day for us!

152-1.jpg

Oh Main Street, there are few things greater than you!

153-1.jpg

On the way out of the park, I stopped to buy some stamps, and then proceeded to the Chamber of Commerce so that I could mail all the post cards that I had collected for my friends! Yay! Once that was done, Mom and I continued along our merry way!

You are one lucky girl that your mom can keep up with you and be happy about it, going commando in Disney. :thumbsup2

The food from Crystal Palace looks delicious! It's making me pretty hungry while I'm at work rotfl!

Glad your mom was able to catch Eeyore after the meal yay!

Oh God I was freaking out for a moment... OMG Piglet is HUGE!!!.
Then I realized you were sitting. :headache: :rotfl2:

Still loving how much your mom is into EVERYTHING. So awesome.

Such cute pictures with the characters at breakfast! One of these days I'm going to make it to Crystal Palace for a meal. Maybe in 2014 when we have kids with us.

I know!! I was glad that she was still up for getting up that early at the end of the trip!!

SO GOOD! I love breakfasts there, ugh, Disney food, the most amazing thing ever! I was glad they were able to pull him aside really quick for that!

Bahaha! I know right?! I'm really glad that she loved everything as much as she did!

Such cute pictures with the characters at breakfast! One of these days I'm going to make it to Crystal Palace for a meal. Maybe in 2014 when we have kids with us.

Thanks!! It's amazing in there, breakfast is by far superior! I mean, they're awesome characters, great food, a beautiful restaurant, the parade around the room isn't obnoxious or anything, and then there's the benefit of getting into the park early! Yay!

Since we were taking the day slowly and just kinda relaxing on our “re-do” day number one, Mom and I decided to take the boat over to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and BOY I am glad we did!

I will admit, the monorail is like, my most favorite thing in the WORLD, but there are very, very few things that beat the view from the boat between Magic Kingdom and the TTC! Seriously. It felt pretty funny as we were the only 2 getting on the boat, and there was a TON of people getting off of it, haha! Here’s a bunch of the pictures from our journey!

15-1.jpg

16-1.jpg

17-1.jpg

Oh hey Grand Floridian! One of these days I’ll actually be able to stay there…I mean, I’m sure (especially with an AP discount) that I could afford a short stay there, it’d be totally fine. HOWEVER, I’m not sure if I want to stay there next time I’m down in Disney or if I want to save it for my “wedding resort” because, I mean, let’s be serious, I’ll be having a Disney wedding!

18-1.jpg

19-1.jpg

Lots of people were headed into Magic Kingdom today!

20-1.jpg

MONORAIL

22-1.jpg

23-1.jpg

Speaking of Disney weddings…

24-1.jpg

I would be lying if I said my heart didn’t ache every time I’m on the monorail and the guy’s all “Disney’s Wedding Pavilion” Also, I may have been on the monorail as that happened in January, and some other guest commented saying “how expensive would that be?” Of course I was all “Oh it’s not as bad as you would think” She thought I had gotten married in Disney…ha! Not yet…

25-1.jpg

26-1.jpg

The Poly is right up there among my favorite resorts, it’s so pretty, and the rooms are GREAT! Even when it’s just a standard room!

27-1.jpg

28-1.jpg

I’m not sure whether I was stretching my neck or fixing my hair or what….but something’s going on!

29-1.jpg

30-1.jpg

31-1.jpg

Oh my gawrsh, what I would give to be there right now! *sigh* And seeing this;

321-1.jpg

Definitely my favorite, I mean, there’s a castle, the train station AND the monorail…yes please! THIS is why I seriously suggest taking the boat, it’s a great view whether you’re leaving MK or heading over there, but I can imagine that first thing in the morning it’s a pretty awesome sight too!

32-1.jpg

Oh my goodness, how did the wedding chapel find it’s way back into my pictures?!

33-1.jpg

34-1.jpg

Mickey takes over the safety signs! Mom and I made it to the TTC in one piece, and very much enjoyed the boat ride over. While we were crossing through to the busses from the fairy, we came across a GIANT group of high schoolers, like, I’m talking it must have been a grad trip, and they were loud and crazy! Thankfully, they were also making fun of themselves and joking about “here comes the high schoolers” as they ran across the TTC. Also thankfully, they were headed to MK, and we were going elsewhere!

35-1.jpg

I love that they theme all the topiaries around Disney, makes for so much more awesome! Mom and I headed over to the bus stop area, and sat down to wait. I don’t think it was that long before we were on a bus, and over to Animal Kingdom either, not a whole lot of waiting, just a lot of traveling!

36-1.jpg

We made it over to AK by 10:04 am, heck yes making good time! Considering that breakfast took far longer than it should thanks to waiting for the bill for so long, I was quite alright with the time. After a quick bag check we were through the turnstiles and on our way to my favorite attraction! Yaaaaaayyy!

Ladies & gents, if you were by chance confused at where Mom and I were headed, well, it was most definitely over to Camp Minnie Mickey, and not for some characters, it was, of course, for Festival of the Lion King! DUUUURRRRRHHHHH.

Seriously, if you thought anything else, you clearly don’t know me, bahahah! We made it over to the theatre quickly, and were let in right at 10:20, in time for the first show of the day! Yay!

We were sat in the elephant section, and that was a nice change from the giraffe section that I seemed to have been in every other time I was there!

The Gift goes over how warthogs make their noises first!

Then of course, is Good Lookin, with the lion section (and everyone’s favorite reasoning to sitting in the lion section, haha!)

42-1.jpg

43-1.jpg

The leader of our pack made sure we all had our trunks in the air and were ready to be elephants!

44.jpg

45-1.jpg

And now…the show begins…. I apologize that a bunch of these photos are pretty dark, but I’d rather have them be dark than not so greatly edited on photobucket. Also, if you are going to see FOTLK at any point, I really do recommend going to the first show of the day! For obvious reasons, the performers all have more energy and I’ve never seen a bad “first show of the day” whereas the 2nd one, sometimes it’s not so great…

46-1.jpg

47-1.jpg

There’s my dancers!

48-1.jpg

49-1.jpg

I love when the show starts that everyone is coming in from all around the room, it really immerses the audience into that world. For that half hour, I’m thinking of nothing else but the show!

50-1.jpg

51.jpg

I took a little break during the first part of the show to just watch and video a few pieces here and there, I knew I had enough pictures from earlier, and would end up with even more after Paige arrived! However, I couldn’t go through Can You Feel the Love Tonight without taking all of the pictures!

I love the ending, how they all come back together, and it’s like they’re thanking each other for everything, it just ties it all together nicely.

*sigh*

Seriously there is nothing better than this show. It completely immerses you into the performance, and there’s always so much to look at. Mom definitely pointed out that the fire spinner was definitely not a dancer, and that proves to say that Disney’s choreographers do an amazing job! I mean really, they’ve got people who have no dance experience, gymnasts, actual dancers, movers and singers all to deal with, and make them all look good with a relatively same level of movement, it’s incredible in a show like this!

This is also the time I’m going to include 2 videos of my favourite dancers, they’re both so incredible, seriously, take the time to watch them, it’s just the clips of their dance and the finale!

And the finale:

(feel free to skip ahead a bit, past all the “Lion Sleeps Tonight” to get to the good stuff!)

Was the show amazing?! OF COURSE, did we love it? OF COURSE. I mean, obviously, we had seen it already on the trip, and it was just as incredible as then, and I seriously die every time I watch it. Ugh. Feels.

I asked Mom if she would want to go quickly over to DHS for our next stop, or if she wanted to kinda take it slow over and catch the next, next show of Beauty & the Beast, and of course, she chose to take it slow, so we meandered out of the park and over to DHS.

Love all of the pictures from the boat! I imagine that wedding pavilion might be on our radar in about 25 years :rotfl:

I CANNOT BELIEVE that you went to see FoLK! :lmao:

Your pictures of MK and the resorts are amazing! We've never taken the boat but we'll have to try it!

Ah the Wedding Pavilion. I have dreams of it as well. And omg slightly off topic but not really. Disney weddings totally aren't as insanely expensive as people act. My cousin keeps telling me Disney weddings are too expensive, don't do it. Well she's planning her wedding now at a local venue that's pretty but NOT Disney rotfl and her wedding is costing as much as a Disney wedding if not more! Her venue is charging $300 a person for food alone. Plus the venue charge and everything else!

Sorry rant over now. But yeah a Disney wedding definitely isn't too expensive in my book.

As soon as you said you were going to AK, I knew it was FOTLK! Love it.
