Bummer! We have two additional children whose parents signed up. So, we have 8 children attending the chocolate museum.

I went to U of Waterloo in the 80s ... We'll have to talk ... it's a small world. There is another U of W grad on the trip too! We should have a Canadian meet on the ship!

I hope all the first time cruisers were able to get the shore excursions they wanted. Also remember you can still book Palos when you first get on the ship.

Finally we were able to book excursions
Still struggling with Rome and Turkey. Don't want the boys (5 and 9) to completely break down with too much sight seeing Oh the choices......

The nice thing is that after Rome, there are two sea days to recover, so if you've exhausted them from a full day from La Spezia and Rome, they'll have two days on the ship to run and play and do whatever they want to do before havinga full day in Athens and Ephesus area. Mykonos will likely be a really easy day followed by another sea day.

We made the mistake our first Med cruise of over-doing the excursions - well, we had them all leaving in the morning which happened to be EARLY mornings - I had thought we'd get up, go, come back and enjoy the afternoons / evenings on the ship. I had not accounted for my children needing more sleep in the morning because they'd be running around with the youth activities all afternoon / evening while DH and I would rest and relax It took a few days before I gave up any hope of them NOT SLEEPING through the bus rides on the excursions. They were 9 and just-turned-11 at the time. We had our La Spezia day as a half-day that didn't start until the afternoon so that was really nice after we'd had full days in Palermo, Naples and Rome. We've learned now to space things out a bit and thankfully they are old enough that we can leave them on the ship some while we go explore in town.

Other Waterloo grad here ChemEng '01. I may have to rethink my FE gifts with so many Canucks involved...
