Who's in for GREECE and TURKEY, June 15 2003????

Got it. Thanks! :goodvibes

We are going to the fountains Thursday night after the meet if you want to go with us. We can't go Friday night either. The girls seem to be getting along great, so it could be a good pre-cruise hangout for them. I think we also share the Pisa - Climb the tower excursion with you.

Yes we are on the Pisa - Climb together. We will be going to the fountains, but Friday is too late. We will have to discuss going on Thursday evening.

We bought our tickets today for La Sagrada Familia for Friday, June 14th. We got the 11 o'clock window. Anyone else planning to go see it?

We are hoping to go to Sagrada Familia (SF) on Friday as well, although not sure what time yet. Probably Park Guell and Las Ramblas too, and the Magic Fountain that night.

Reagarding SF, are you doing the towers, or just the Basilica? I haven't been, but noted on the web site the towers have a separate entrance fee.

Can anyone please offer any advice from their experience on any of the above?
Thanks! pirate:

We are just going the basilica visit as the price was less and we will get to see enough for us.

We are have to get with the rest of the group to see when. Thanks for the reminder! In 2007 we were on an excursion off the ship before we sailed and got off the bus and saw the outside but we were not able to go in. Sue

This is similar to us - we saw it from a bus as we were doing a HOHO but didn't have time to stop and go in to see it (nor did we know about tickets, etc.) but we knew if we ever made it back to BCN, we'd like to go see it in detail.

I think this was the last thing I have to officially arrange besides our Rome in Limo tour - we have the car booked for the day and a little bit of a plan, but we need to knock the details out soon.

Same for us too ... Saw it from the outside as well ... Dying to see the inside .. Thinking of going on Thursday around 4:00 ... Good way to stay awake :)

We bought our tickets for the Forum in Rome today.

Coliseum/Forum/palatine tickets -- tickets are 13,50 Euro each.

We've narrowed our Rome list down to:

Basilica San Clemente
The Forum
Palatine Hill
Mamertine Prison
Circus Maximus
Baths of Caracalla
Victor Emmanuel Monument (to take the lift to see Rome from up high)

We've emailed with Jany at Rome in Limo so our driver will have our short list for figuring out the best way to see what we want to see and still get us back to the port early.

We were guestimating allowing 90 minutes for transportation from the port to the city - does that sound about right?

Getting very excited - trying to do something cruise-plan-wise every day.

Hi. If you go here, you'll see a compilation of who's sailing, access to the facebook group, fish extenders / rollcall sign-ups, and who's doing which excursions. Let us know if you're able to join us.

It's on June 14th at 1pm at the Chocolate Museum. Children 6-12 are welcome! Cost is 7 Euros per child.

Hi! HavingABlast:

I am organizing the Chocolate Museum excursion. I need to keep a list for the Chocolate Museum.

Children ages 6 - 12 are welcome. I will send you a PM with the details.

We need a minimum of 15 children for it to happen.

It is scheduled for 1 p.m. on the 14th of June, Friday.

You will need to pay for it when you arrive.

Geri

Can someone add the info to the event spreadsheet and i'll add it to the calendar

Hi, MJ!

I am the mom who is coordinating the chocolate factory pre-cruise meet for the children.

I updated the information on the spreadsheet and will be sending folks a reminder.

Thanks,

Geri
