Amy's (Non-Disney) Designs - Part III

Hopefully this is more like you had in mind...

I think I did a poor job explaining what I meant. So sorry if I am being a pain! When I refering to the sparkle, in my mind I was thinking of a glittery red filling inside the lettering of her name(I hope that makes sense). If that isn't possible the plain red is just fine without the sparkle surrounding the letters (it blocks to much of the adorable Toto). Also, would it be possible to leave the frame off the design completely? Sorry I am being so specific. I appreciate your patience with me! Thank you.

That's wonderful thank you :) I tried to find graphics but I wasn't sure what would work :/

If you could do one with the name LOUISE
and also one with the name RICHARD with the rides:

- Hulk at Islands of Adventure
- Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios
- The Hogwarts Castle from Wizarding world
- Spider-Man at Island of Adventure

If this is too many rides to fit into the names could you leave out the Spider-Man image?

If this isn't possible I appreciate you trying anyway :)

Thank you :)

Here is what I worked on for you - I hope you like them...

Amy, I LOVE the spring is sprung design!!!! Awesome..it really does look like spring...I think anyway..maybe it will look like that in a few weeks, if we are lucky:) Thank you again...

I am so glad you like it Marilyn! Have a great Easter!

Thank you! I received them in record time. After reading through this thread, I think I am going to need to order some "Light paper" transfer paper? My daughter wants the back of her t-shirt to have words on it, and not to have a white background -- just words.

Is it possible to get this look with the dark transfers, or do I need to buy light transfer paper? Do you sell the light transfer paper? And, if not, is there a brand that you recommend?

Thank you! :)

I do not sell light iron on transfers nor can I recommend a brand as the dark transfers are the only ones I use, even on white shirts.

There are a few ways you can cut out text with a dark transfer. The easiest way is to put the text in an easy to cut out shape like a circle, square, etc..

Another way is to cut 'loosely' around the text. What I mean by that is to cut like cloud or bubble shape around the text, so in effect cutting around the text with a thin like border around it.

With either of the above options you could use a white background behind the text or try to match as closely as possible the tshirt color. This is what I normally do and have had pretty good results.

Lastly, especially if the letters are large and chunky, you could cut out each individual letter and place on the shirt. This can be very time consuming but the results are fantastic!

There is one other idea, but this requires the use of a Cricut machine. I got this idea from a fellow DIS'er and it works great. You can use the Cricut machine to cut out your letters and then iron on. If you want them white, simply put the blank sheet through the machine. If you would like a colored text, simply print the color on the sheet in a large block or two or whatever is needed and then cut in the printed areas. The hardest part about doing it this way is peeling off the backing paper. (because you cannot do the pre-peel before cutting)

Hopefully this helps!

Amy-
I am planning on taking my son to Legoland and was looking for a T-shirt design to print on a shirt for him.

His name is CHRISTOPHER.

(Would like something square not just a name fill)

Thanks,

Laura
