I am trying to make a reservation for my in-laws online. I've tried doing it two ways, and I am guessing I just need to call MS to do it "my" way. I want to see if there is a way to do it myself before calling. We have a contract at BWV and one at GCV. Both are August UY. The trip is in September 2013, so during our 2013 UY. Here is what I want to do:
1) Use 41 banked points from GCV from 2012.
2) Use 24 current 2013 points from BWV.
3) Use 12 borrowed points from BWV 2014.
I've tried using the BWV contract first. I click the "borrow" button and try to borrow 12 points, and the system says I must borrow 53 to complete the reservation.
Next, I tried using the GCV contract first. I then click that I want to use the BWV contract second. When the transaction is complete, it says it used my 41 banked points and 36 from the 2013 UY from GCV. It uses NONE of the BWV points.
I realize that I am not doing a "normal" transaction, but is this not possible online? I don't mind calling, but I prefer doing it myself so I can know it is correct. I used the cancel button on the confirmation page both times, so I don't have this reservation. I'm just driving myself crazy because it seems like a simple thing to me, but apparently not to the computer.
