Land package price is $5037.40

We since received $537.00 off for a spring promotion, decided to add $150.00 for photopass +.

We are driving because we will be doing a week beach vacation after we leave Disney, so maybe another $400 to $500 for gas.

I don't think I posted since we paid for air.:scared1:

2 adults and 2 disney kids
8 day MYW with WP&F
Free QSDP
3151.98

NON-Stop SW flights 1203.20

Girls are doing PL again this year so we will be buying PP+. Also plan on doing CP breakfast, Tusker House Breakfast and T-rex. So another 300.00 for that. I plan on taking 1500.00 with us. :) Grand total 5855.18 and we are still thinking about doing seaworld. I will say I should probably come back with some of that 1500.00.

Far more than I ever imagined.....

Room = $6,000 [we rented points for an extended family trip and now it looks like the family is backing out so I will be on the hook for all of it]

APs = 1833.93 [good for a second trip during the year]

TIW = 100

so, before rental car or food I am at $7,933.93.

I looked adding the deluxe dining plan instead of TIW to lock down the food costs, but it would add about $2700 and we would be forced to eat the plan. I think we do better with the card. This is far more than I have ever spent before.....

Our upcoming trip next month will cost us $1,700 for 5 nights off site with 2 Disney days and 2 Universal days, flights, rental car and food. That does not include the cost of renewing our Universal annual passes last month.

Our November 2013 trip is going to cost $3,200 for staying 7 nights at OKW paying OOP for food, flights, rental car and other vacation expenses. That will include 2 Disney days, 2 Universal days and one day for a Segway tour and going to see Cirque Du Soleil.

2 Adults - 1 14 year old

3 Airfares - 0 from signing up for southwest visa card.

3 nights OKW on rented points - $420

5 nights at YC with 5 day MYK tickets - $2800

Food - FREE using Chase REward Visa points - $840 worth of free food

Because I used gift cards from my local grocer and earned free points - I got $430 worth of free gas....

Total cost for 8 nights at WDW deluxe hotel, food, airfare, tickets - $2800 (after I take the free gas credit!!!). Can't beat that....

The usual cost for us. Probably around 4,000.

We've got 5 nights at ASMU Family Suite, 2 nights at Residence Inn SeaWorld - the night we arrive and then the night after we tour SeaWorld before heading to Disney.

I haven't broken out the full costs yet. I know each CS we eat is around 50.00 total for the 4 of us. And we are planning on Breakfast in the room to save some money. I've got us booked with a couple of TS restaurants and I have that TIW card so that will help some.

We might do Gatorland for something different while we are there. That's going to be a whim thing so I'm just going to be adding that in to the costs just in case.

I've got an AP for Disney so that's one less ticket we have to buy. Maybe it will actually be under 4,000.00 this year. That would be cool.

I really need to sit down one day and finalize the cost estimates.

When thinking of the cost, we decided to switch from The Wilderness Lodge to Port Orlean Riverside. We are going to save around $2700. Waiting to hear back from our Travel Agent - since we were 3/4's of the way paid - this should make our vacation paid once we switch.

I think you made a good choice. Riverside is so nice and a boat ride from DTD.

After having stayed at AKL on my last trip, I'm just not seeing the benefit of spending all that extra money. POR feels plenty nice for me.

8 days/7 nights at YC Standard View: $1330 (through ***)
3 Five-day park hoppers: $600 (CM discount)

We are driving down ($300 gas estimate) and will spend 2 nights offsite with HH points prior to YC.
Never do the dining plan and we normally spend about $700 or so on food.

So, $2930-$3000 give or take...

$3263...how is that possible! We are staying at the AoA for 10 nights Aug. 16-26 and our quote is $3200 Canadian. How does one go about renting points in a way that is 'safe'. I checked out a site where the points are $13 each which in most cases doesn't make it worth it. I would love to stay at AKL!!

Renting points is very worth it! I'm staying in a 1 bdrm at BCV for 8 nights and air for 4 on points for way lessthan it would cost me to buy a land & air pkg from a tour operator for a value resort!

$4800 total

3 adults June 25th-july 1st

6 nights port Orleans riverside garden view ( they were sold out of standard) - $1491
Two 5 day PH tickets (I already have a premier AP) - $650
Food -$1200 (includes 8 TS meals including yachtsman, 1900 PF and crystal palace)
Virgin America LAX-MCO, $761
Southwest MCO-LAX , $734

This is with no discounts. I am hoping maybe for AP discounts but I'm not holding out much hope for any discounts.

It's more expensive than usual for us because we wanted a more relaxing vacation so we chose a moderate instead of staying at POP again.

2 adults/2 children (7,6)
October 6-12

6 nights in a little mermaid room at art of animations
6 day hopper pass

(3) 4-day Park Hoppers - $468
Meals - $1000
Gas - $300

Souvenirs - $150
Total: $2617

We are a bit nervous about staying at SoG, having never stayed there before.
