I LOVE IT when we lure the lurkers out of hiding!

HERE LURKER, LURKER, LURKER!!! Want a piece of candy? That's it, come closer, closer, closer! Now type a question and hit send! ;)

 ~NM

Wouldn't we be luring them with Sunken Treasures, Lobster Rolls, Oreo Bon Bons, Grand Mariner Slushies, and CL food offerings? I'm sensing a trend with this group, food and drink ;)

I just saw some photos of a BC 1 bedroom suite and it had a sofa in the bedroom. Does anyone know if all the 1 bedroom suites have a sofa and does it pull out to a bed?

Ziggy it was really a great room, the only thing it didn't have was the king bed we wanted, it had 2 queens. The location was great, loved being near the back elevator & loved the view. I'd totally ask for this area again! If I can ever figure out how to post pics I'll put them on here. Now the rooms across the hall I'd imagine would be GV & I imagine it would be views of BCV & their pool. Which would be nice.

Dental bills suck! :teeth: I had a root canal & a crown a few years ago, they totally break the bank.

Here are my instructions for posting photos, using Photobucket, if you want to try. Just follow the instructions in the first link. I think there are quick links now, so you can actually just choose the picture you want to post with one click.

How do I?

Post a Photo on the DIS?
sub-lesson: Upload all of your pictures into Photobucket in Large, not Full-size, format
Note- March 2013: This feature is not currently working on the Photobucket Beta version. All photos are loading in a large format. Resizing of pictures must be done individually. ARGH!!!!
ETA: March 15- this feature was reintroduced to the Beta version

My love-hate relationship with Photobucket continues to evolve. After being involuntarily thrust a couple of weeks ago into the Beta version which had LESS working features than the former version, I am starting to warm up now that some of the features have been restored. I am no longer calling PB a name that I can't post here, but I reserve the right to hold the new name in the wings, just-in-case!

Thanks Dee! I think I got it to work:thumbsup2!

Angeejoe thank you so much for the photos, the room and location look fab, love the glasses on the bunny too :rotfl:

Thank you Natebenma, I would love to be added. We will be there April 23-30th!
I would love to have DME take care of my luggage but I am afraid that since we will be getting in so late that we won't have what we need to get to bed. The kids will have there stuff which is more important! I would like us to get to bed soon after we get to the hotel but since we are over here on the west coast I don't know how the time difference will mess with my kids. I am hoping that they will be so exhausted from traveling that they won't mind going to bed at 7:00 PM their time, which is really only a hour eariler than normal.
I am very excitied to be staying at BC again and can't wait to show my husband the magic! This is my kids first time in any Disney theme park and my husbands first time to FL! :cool1:

I'm sure the kids will be fine getting to bed :) We have the opposite problem-desperately trying to stay awake on our first day until a reasonable bedtime :rolleyes1. 1 or more of us (and I dont just mean the kids) may have been found asleep at the table in ESPN by the time the food came and they're pretty quick bringing the food :rotfl: Then we are up at dawn the next day but it's all good and works out fine anyways:goodvibes

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE :shamrock: (not exactly a shamrock but as close as I could get):lmao:

Happy St Patrick's Day luvpoohandcompany, are you celebrating today? We tend to find we're in bed for 9pm on our first night and that's with fighting the sleep

Thanks-we are going out for dinner with family today but not much else planned as yet (waiting to see if the rain stops lol). We too are always in bed early even though we try everything to stay up! Sleep just takes over :rotfl:

dh and I are coming in april 21st through the 27th, staying club level at BC. can NOT wait!! we're celebrating our 20th anniversary NO KIDS YEEHAW!!

:welcome: and Congratulations!!!

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

My DH and I often talk about how much fun Disney would be without the kids! A whole 'nuther World!

:cool1:

Hi, Natebenma! Yes, add me to the list! Thank you! YC dates are 10/20-10/24. Too short, alas, but kids wanted the darn split (lure of the ever-malfunctioning monorail *grumble* ;) )

Got it!

:goodvibes

Staying at the Beach Club June 08th - 22nd.

I got a great deal that wasn't too far off what I paid last year for the POFQ. Factor in the free DDP and it was blooming well impossible to ignore. My son is really looking forward to Stormalong Bay, it was all I could do to stop him diving in last year when we visited Beaches & Cream. Six year old kids really don't get the ban on pool hopping.

Online check-in not too far off, full balcony and upper floor please.

Feel free to add me to the list.

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list on Page 1.

Glad the Disney math worked out allowing you a stay at the Beach Club.

:woohoo:

Thaks for the clarification on your dates. :goodvibes

Since you are getting in late, grabbing your own luggage may be the best thing to do. You don't want to have it delivered while you are trying to get the kids to sleep.

I have finally decided to stop lurking and join in. We are staying at the YC from August 15th ~ 26th. This will be our 1st stay at a deluxe resort. We have always stayed value and been very happy. I had never been able to justify the price jump even to stay at a moderate, but we got such a great deal through ***, we decided it was too good to pass up. We can't wait for August to get here!

:welcome: to this thread and to the DIS!!!

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

I'm glad you got one of the *** deals.

:cool1:

Long time lurker, first time poster. LOVE this site and all the info on everything Disney.

I'm taking my first family trip to Disney since I visited Epcot way back when it first opened in 1982. I guess it has change some since then. :)

Staying this April 20-26 at BC in GV CL with meal plan. Don't think I'll go hungry. Traveling with my spouse and 2 kids (9-12). Very excited and very ready for a vacation. Please feel free to add me to your guest list.

I read about the concern some people had regarding the availability of bottle water for CL guests, somewhere on these boards. Terri the CIP at the BC wrote me to say that Dasani water is indeed available. Just an FYI for anyone who cares about water. :coffee:

:welcome: to this thread and to the DIS!!!

I'll add you to the list.

:banana::banana::banana:

I also want to say that I love your screen name. My DH and I both grew up in Dover and although I am now "South of the Border", I consider NH to be my home. Especially when I am shopping! :rotfl:

I am very excited because my DH and I are planning to come back to the BC for Flower & Garden in 2014. Since Easter is April 20, 2014, we will probably aim for the first week in May. :goodvibes

I was talking to my DH about booking a bounce back for BC when we are at the WL this coming December. We love the BC and missed our easy walk to the World Showcase when we were at the WL last month. So we really wanted to come back, it was just a matter of deciding when it would be. I was thinking about returning in the fall of 2014, maybe for Food & Wine. But he said that he really loved it when we went to Flower & Garden in 2011, and he would like to come back then. pixiedust: That sounded great to me. Late April, early May is a really nice time to come to the BC. :) So we have decided to book the trip when we get the bounce back offer this December.

Then I said that each adult in a room can book a bounce back, and if he really wanted to, we could each book a bounce back, with the second one being for Christmas 2014. He then asked me why I didn't tell him that sooner. And I said that I only found out recently from the DIS ;) (I've learned SO MUCH from this site.) We'll see how Christmas at the WL goes in 2013, but going to the BC in the spring and the WL in December does solve the problem of loving two resorts and wanting to go to both of them. :goodvibes

:welcome: back!

I'll pencil you in on the B.O.G. for spring 2014

Thanks for sharing the news about being able to book multiple bouncebacks!

:yay:

Thanks Dee! I think I got it to work:thumbsup2!

Nicely done!!!

OK, I know none of us ever obsess about our trips so please forgive my obsession with my late check in time. Should I do online check in and risk getting a room at the back end of beyond, or should I just do my check in when I get there some time around 8 pm. I have never arrived this late in the day. Not handling the dilemma too well. :scratchin

Kim

Perhaps you should do the advanced registration. That way you don't have to fill out all of the paperwork when you arrive. Also, I don't expect the checkin to be too busy at that time, so when you find out the location of the room, and if it is not good, you can ask if there is something else available or WHEN something else will be available if you are willing to switch during your trip.

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE :shamrock: (not exactly a shamrock but as close as I could get):lmao:

A special St. Patrick's Day shoutout to you, my friend across the pond!

I was just looking at online check in and in the second step you have to link a credit card to your kttw card but dw and I want differant cards linked to our kttw cards. So I think I will wait and check in when we get there. We are staying CL and have never done this before, I read that when staying CL they have a CM waiting to escourt you to the CL floor upon arrival. If i don't do online check in how will they know what time we arrive? Am I supposed to call and inform someone our flight times? We are taking a town car from the airport so we wont be on ME.

My understanding is that the folks at Disney use faith, trust and pixie dust to know when you have arrived.

However, if you are not greeted by name as you get out of the car or enter the lobby, let someone know (a greeter or a CM with a clipboard) that you are checking in at club level and someone will escort you to the lounge.

Thank you, Dee. It feels great to be on the official list. :wizard:
I think it is going to be hard to wait for the Bounce back offer in December to actually book the trip. But I can still make plans. :goodvibes
