The GH Official Thread Part 2

so Ellie is researching the pickle Lila. I thougth Star was? I must have missed something. I thought that was ridiculous, that suddenly Star was an expert in such things. when did she even have time to graduate college?

I also think the recipie for relish as the saving grace for EQ is even more ridiculous than the vampoir storyline. (sorry)

I hate to say it, but just another indication AJ is not equipped to be the ELQ CEO. Instead of taking the last jar of Pickle Lila to a reputable lab to determine the ingredients, he has his son's girlfriend, a college student who likes science :lmao: in charge. Then she realizes she doesn't actually have a lab at home, so they're next logical stop is General Hospital?! Wow, just Wow :rolleyes1

I think they had to switch from Starr to Ellie because Starr had to go film OLTL, and they had to scramble some stories around.

Maria :upsidedow

The dumbest part of the vampire story is that orphaned Rafe isn't going to live with either A) the Barringtons (this is the real life answer, but doesn't work for the story) or B) Lucy, his paternal cousin. She's all "I have to protect Rafe! Oh, Caleb's dead? See ya kid, I need a spa day!" What?!?

I too am wondering what Scotty's story is. I do not trust him! I have heard that "Luke and Laura" will not be at the nurses ball as they will be "on the run" at that time looking for Lulu. I hope they leave Scotty behind.

I'm assuming that's how they'll get old Lulu out for new Lulu.

I'm over the vampires, Kate/Connie, and pickle Lila. Finish it and move on!

I

I'm over the vampires, Kate/Connie, and pickle Lila. Finish it and move on!

I'm actually enjoying the Kate/Connie thing. The actress who plays them does such a good job, I buy into it.

I am disappointed in the handling of the vampire story line. If any of you watch Port Charles you may remember that Caleb/Livvie were a hot couple! Caleb wasn't a crazed, murdering nutjob. He truly loved Livvie, and it was very romantic and sexy. Though I liked watching Caleb/Steven on GH, the romance of his character was totally missing. Maybe that was on purpose, and we haven't seen the real Caleb yet.

So happy with GH right now, and have never fast forwarded, but if Brenda comes back...:furious: Cannot stand her character.

I just have to say I liked the Kate/Connie story awhile ago. Now Ifast forward through all Connie,Kate, and Sonny scenes. Pickle Llia is just ridiculious. I fast forward those scenes also. They should have recast Jason with AJ. This would have put him to better use. I love Todd and Carly but they have done very little with them. Lately I find myself fast forwarding most of the show. They are playing back burner characters that are just boring. Felica,Mack,Duke,Frisco, Anna, and AJ. Does anyone think Frisco talks strange? Almost reminds me of Clint Eastwood. I also hate when they start a story and don't come back to it for a week and fill in with pickle lila. Come on General you can do much better.

I'm tired of the Connie/Kate thing as well. :headache: I like the actress, but this "yo-yo-ing" between the two is getting old and boring.
Get her intergrated already.

I love Kelly Sullivan as an actress and think she has done such a wonderful job with the whole DID storyline it's just that its getting tiring. I do think she deserves an Emmy!

I love the interaction with AJ and Carly and loved that she mentioned Jason today as part of Liz's heart.

I hope they pursue Todd and Carly. And, I wish they would start giving actors that have been on for more than 6 months (ahem, Britt) a better storyline and more screen time. Britt has had more lines than Liz.

And, I *love* Tracey and Luke together. They are so funny with each other ( he was drinking again yesterday...notice?)

Previews for the week of 11-Mar-2013
by Carol Banks Weber

**Todd hankers to get back with Carly as soon as he’s free.
Todd tells the whole world he’s in love with Carly, on live TV.
Carly still cannot get over how Todd skated.
Carly cannot believe the way Todd looks now.
Todd goes to Carly, declaring that he’s now free to be with her.
Secretly pleased, a stubborn Carly nevertheless lies to Todd that she’s involved with A.J. now.
Carly tries to reject Todd in the worst way, by kissing A.J. Enter Elizabeth, for her date. Whoops!
Carly talks A.J. into going with the kiss—for ulterior motives. Todd still thinks she’s foolin’.
Todd tries to get a feel for where Carly’s at by picking Starr’s (limited) brain.
Todd asks Starr what’s the deal with this A.J. guy.
A.J. will play with Carly, provided she fork over the missing Q heir.
Elizabeth turns and flees from A.J. and Carly in a liplock.
A.J. catches sight of Elizabeth and runs after her all the way to GH.
It grosses Michael out to no end that Carly’s back with A.J.
A.J. braves Elizabeth’s wrath to explain the back story behind the dreadful kiss.
A.J. and Elizabeth go over what happened with that Carly kiss.
Elizabeth listens to A.J.’s explanation, sees it’s sincere, and gives him her grace.
Elizabeth forgives A.J. after all that, but plays with him a little, making him work a little harder for her.
A.J. gets back in Elizabeth’s good graces, but only when he agrees to join her at the Nurses’ Ball—onstage.

John’s whole world comes crashing down. He believes he’s let everyone down, most of all himself.
Sam takes care to ensure John that he’s far from a loser.
Sam goes calling on John to give her a leg up.
Sam basically tells Todd what goes around, comes around, and beware of it biting him and his clan in the butt next.

T.J., Molly, and Shawn drop in on Sonny and Kate.
Sonny goes looking for any signs of Kate.
While looking for Kate, Sonny finds Olivia in a kind of mourning at Steve’s place.
Sonny sees if Olivia has any clues to Kate’s whereabouts.
Olivia relays that last time she saw Kate, it felt odd. This makes Sonny ill at ease: it could mean Connie’s back.
Sure enough, Connie is back and pissed at Sonny for cheating on her with Kate.

Scott is afraid Laura still carries a lingering torch for Luke. Even moreso when he busts her mooning over a photo of Luke.
Laura covers by telling Scotty that she’s only staring at Luke’s photo because of Lulu becoming a mom soon. But Scotty doesn’t buy it.
Scott is also afraid Laura is coming around to Luke’s conspiracy theory.
Scott and Lucy have a good old time at the Floating Rib, catching up after all these years. One person who dislikes this loving display is a jealous Kevin.
Scott discloses that he’s scared Laura will go back to Luke.
Reacting to his fears, Scott pushes Laura to marry him asap. This gives her considerable pause.

Alexis has to let Rafe down with bad tidings.
Government at work. The Foster care system absorbs him into its cold, bureaucratic machinery. Molly is beside herself. Don’t worry, Molly, soon, Sam will adopt Rafe.
T.J. fights to hold onto Molly, as he believes he’s losing her to Rafe. In this vein, T.J. goes full bore to restore her byline to the novel about to enjoy publication.
Had Connie stayed inside, Kate would’ve been in charge and given proper credit to Molly for the novel. Alas…
Molly and T.J. go to the book launch party, hoping.
Alexis and Shawn indict Connie with pilfering Molly’s novel, and appropriating it as her own.
Alexis and Shawn press publisher Agnes Chu to rule against Connie.
Connie relents somewhat, allowing Molly to share byline credits.
Molly feels badly when the readers prefer Connie’s sexed-up additions to the novel.
Molly tries to make contact with Rafe, but finds she’s unable to, which scares her.

Lulu and Dante thrill to view the ultra-sound of their impending peanut. Too bad it’s not theirs, right?
Maxie has second thoughts about giving up her newborn to Lulu and Dante, which only gives Frisco more reason to push his daughter not to. That ultra-sound made it very real.

Lucy broadcasts fantastic tidings to the nurses of GH.
Lucy gets everybody revved up to bring the Nurses’ Ball back to its full glory.
Lucy whips out a cashier’s check for the full amount needed to put on this Nurses’ Ball show. ***, how?

Elizabeth has a friend to lean on when she is filled with grief over Steve going to Memphis prison: Sabrina.
Elizabeth and Felix nudge Sabrina hard, so she will finally open up her heart to Patrick.
Epiphany reveals Sabrina’s test results. Will she become a nurse?
Sabrina finally tells Patrick the crush she has been harboring is on him.

Olivia frets about Steve’s welfare.

A.J. and Ellie believe Spinelli snatched the recipe.
Michael gives up on the ELQ dream after all that. But wait, Ellie thinks she can fix this.
Tracy forces Spinelli to hand over the Pickle-Lila recipe he swiped. He connives of a way to thwart her.
Spinelli gets creative when he dispenses with that piece of paper he pilfered.
Ellie deduces that Spinelli was the one who pilfered that recipe, and feels suitably blindsided.

Agnes lets it be known to Mac that she’s very interested.

A gun goes off.

Bobbie Spencer, Carly’s mom, shows back up at GH, on-screen.

Next week: Hi, Bobbie! Nice to have you back… Kevin seethes, watching Lucy and Scotty interact… Laura doesn’t know what to make of Scotty’s insistence that they wed now… Lulu has a chat with her parents; might be the last one she gets for awhile… Frisco plots to block Maxie giving up her own baby… Robin’s DVD makes Patrick melancholy… Who goes down like a shot?... Evil sets foot back in Port Charles.

Gossip for the week of 11-Mar-2013
by Carol Banks Weber

**Helena abducts and brainwashes Lulu, just as she had done with Lucky after that fire. Luke and Laura will go chasing after the Cassadine to rescue their daughter. In the meantime, Maxie mourns Lulu’s death, then tells Dante that the baby she’s carrying is really hers and Spinelli’s to spare the cop the burden of single fatherhood.

Maurice Benard (Sonny) recently tweeted about sharing some scenes with the recently added Vanessa Marcil (Brenda)…really deep, emotional scenes.

Jerry returns to Port Charles, either with Robin in tow or chasing after her. Jax returns too, having suspected his brother of kidnapping. He’s the first one to find Jerry red-handed. Patrick spies Robin at a distance, just like Luke did with Laura many years ago, and go running to his wife. Jerry’s return will be a complete upheaval in Alexis’s love life with Shawn.

Examine Molly and Connie’s novel, “Love In Maine,” closely. It parallels Alexis’s love affair with Sam’s biological father. Sam will go digging into her past to find him—as well as the missing Quartermaine heir. Sam’s dad will make it to PC with a burning curiosity about that novel.

When Nikolas whips out his big check for the Nurses’ Ball, Sabrina swoons. Patrick, who? Britt winds up falling in love with the undercover cop, or another guy—perhaps Patrick’s dad, Noah?—soon enough.

Will Dr. Noah Drake even make an appearance after his portrayer Rick Springfield got nabbed by the cops on a bench warrant for failing to show up at his court-appointed time? According to TMZ (March 8, 2013) sources, Springfield was expected in court for his May 2011 DUI back in February, but never showed. Springfield was supposed to show the court he finished his alcohol education program and pay $1,555 in a fine. “A rep for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department tells TMZ, deputies went to Rick's L.A. home this morning to execute the warrant ... but by the time he was being booked, Rick's attorney had the warrant recalled. Rick was subsequently released.” The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department issued the bench warrant on Springfield last Wednesday. The actor posted on his Facebook that he had no idea of his court appearance: “I didn't know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and I am free to go.”

What if there’s one more alter to Kate? Portrayer Kelly Sullivan thinks so. “She's been living as Kate for so long that something snapped and she reverted back to this sort of menancing, crazy, over-the-top, tortured soul...that could very well be another alter,” Sullivan told ABC Soaps In Depth, March 4, 2013 interview. Or how about this… Kate is an alter too and we’ve yet to see the host?

Viewers are theorizing that Scotty might’ve brainwashed and mind-controlled Laura into marrying him. She’s only doing it so he won’t make Lulu’s life a living hell over Logan, or maybe worse, Luke’s right about the Ice Princess torture.

I've been trying to keep up with the show but since I missed years I'm confused. Is there a sort of family tree on line somewhere? I watched the show from late 70's to mid 90's then off and on since then, the off times were kinda long. When the people from the other soaps joined in I was not watching so that's been confusing. :confused3 Are there any websites that would be helpful to fill in the gaps? popcorn::

We can also try to answer some questions.

Yesterday not all of GH recorded due to the new Pope being announced. So I set the TIVO for 9 PM, Soap channel, and the description said if was for 03/13. Well I watched it later and it was actually 3/12 episode. So I recorded the midnight episode. Again it was the 3/12 episode though it stated 3/13

So I just watched the 3/13 episode on the computer this AM. Well this afternoon our ABC ended up showing the 3/13 episode and not todays!

Is anyone else off a day? I guess I will watch today's tomorrow on the computer. Not sure how they are going to catch up so to speak.

GH announced via twitter yesterday that since the show was interrupted due to the announcement of the Pope that yesterday's show would be aired today.

I am in Michigan and today's show was interrupted because of the announcement of the governor's emergency takeover of Detroit. So i have my dvr set for tonight on soapnet! :rotfl2:

I don't do the twitter stuff, so I guess I will stay out of the loop. Thanks for the info.

Thank you, that is helpful, alot to read there. Also somehow I ended up on wikipedia too and that's helpful.

My issue is that I don't have time to watch everyday and so it's hard to catch up and figure it all out. I don't want to record it as I don't ever have time for that either, so I try to watch when I can. It helps that the soap channel repeats episodes.

So is the last we heard/saw Robert Scorpio still when he was stabbed or something like that?
