I really hope that there are deals coming. I am going to be watching the boards and WDW deals page. This October I am trying to arrange a 10 year Wedding Vow renewal at the park but want to make sure that the guests that are coming will get a good deal.

Last year's covered check in dates for FD were Oct 1-4, and Oct 19-31.

I have a few question for the pros of Disney.

1. I think I have read that you can book a vacation package and add dining plan and if free dining comes available you can call and get it changed to the free dining.

2. I think I have also read you have up to 45 days before check in to cancel dining plan if you dont want it.

We are going in Oct. regardless of FD or not. But if it is free we would like to take advantage of it, if not we don't want it. I just want to make sure I can cancel if FD dosen't happen.

Last year it was in the first of Aug. when they offered it for stays in Oct. so that would be in a 45 day window.

I agree!! I am seriously hoping for some FD when we head down for Halloween & F&WF!! I did call yesterday to check on other things regarding my booking and when I asked, I was told to check around July for any FD discounts that may be available when we will be going. I have my fingers & toes crossed for it!!

Was there any other type of discount for the week/days surrounding Columbus Day? I was pretty sure I remembered that they don't offer FD during that period, but was there at least a room discount? Probably not? I was really hoping to go during that period, but maybe not.....

I would LOVE to get free dining in OCT! We are currently trying to plan our 20th anniversary trip. Our house has to sell in order to go. I'm not sure what level we will do if they offer free dining. We always use the dining plan, so this would be great! Especially since we have decided to go for 10 nights.

Got Poly standard for $323.90 a night, October 20-27. I'll take it! Haven't done MNSSHP in years. My girls are thrilled.
