Quick question, does anyone have any peanut allergies or other allergies that I need to watch out for? I am still finalizing my gifts but want to make sure peanuts/other items are ok in the rooms if I decide to give some as part of my gifts. Let me know.

Our countdown chain has officially started!

My DH was kind of confused as to why I would start it at 32 days, but that's just how the paper strips worked out, so I went with it. Each link has either a question or an activity written on it.

I've started my clothes organization to get things ready to pack. Do you think 4 weeks is too early to put everything in suitcases? We did a "fashion show" at home with the girls this weekend to try on all of their summer clothes. It looks like we are in pretty good shape. My oldest DD needs new swimsuits and sandals, but that's all we really need. Everything else would be a want...and there are a lot of those.

I was hoping to make a paper chain for our countown, but the time has gotten away from me since we are in the middle of a move right now. So I am just going to print a calendar and let them put a sticker on each day. This time next month, we will be enjoying breakfast at 'Ohana .

I made mine a little early and my girls have been asking nonstop when we would get to start it. They were very happy when I got it out last night!

A month from right now, I will either be checking into our resort OR having some fried clams by the water in Cape Canaveral! Either way, I'll be on vacation!

I've been busy compiling ideas for the FE exchange ... need to stop looking or start booking more cruises!!

Alas ... today, however, needs to be spent doing non-cruise 'stuff' (like taxes ) ... not nearly as fun!!

Hey All!
I tried to get to this yesterday ... the "official" five week mark! But, alas, real life got in the way

I've been thinking about our group meet on embarkation day and getting very excited!! I loved the idea for Lime Green Leis as a way to identify ourselves ... and priced them at Party City last week ... under $1!! So please, if you're able, find your way to a Lime Green Lei, grab one for each family member, and tuck them in your suitcase!! Remember we'll be meeting at 3:00pm, location still to be determined!! (Plenty of time ... right?! )

I've also discovered a really cool website ... and created this (sorry it's so big!? Have no idea how to size it!)! I kinda like it even more than the DISgreen ships wheel?! Maybe we can take a poll?!! Just throwing ideas around!

I'd wait to print this though ... in case more cruisers find their way here!! I could easily add names and repost when we get closer to our sail away!!

Welcome aboard!! The FE list closed in February. I know most of us have already ordered, personalized, and or wrapped the gifts. If you read some of the previous posts you'll see that we are having a meet and greet once aboard the ship at 3:00. You're welcome to join us!!!

The packing has begun in this house as well. Driving my husband nuts with trips to Costco every other day.

I am so excited about our upcoming cruise. This will be our first Disney Cruise and I am a little late in finding out about the darling fish extender groups. How do i join one? Can i still Join?
We have 5 kiddos. 4 boys 10, 8, and our twins will turn 7 on the cruise. And last but not lease Sweet Baby girl is one. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the Group!! I have heard that if you hang up a Fish Extender on your door ... and bring some items to share, that you can still experience the 'magic' of giving and receiving, without officially being on a list!? Please be sure to share with us the ages of your children, where you're from, and maybe even your stateroom number. I'm guessing there is extra Pixie dust floating around the ship!

We also bought our leis today!! aaannnddd we must be on the same dining rotation, because we will be in AP on the first night too! Second seating! Can't wait! Also ... we are leaving immediately after the girls get out of school on Friday. Long drive but worth it

Okay DISfriends!! We are officially FOUR weeks away from our FANTASY CRUISE! Our official meet up time and place will be at 3:00pm during Embarkation. We will meet on Deck 13 at Currents Bar (Even though it says adults only, during embarkation it is not restricted!) Be sure to wear your LIME GREEN Leis.

Also, I updated the DISmeetEARS with our the two newest DISfriends, and added our cruise info and dates ... again, I'd wait until we get closer to our sail date to print, but if you are more organized than I am ... here's the updated version!

We asked our DCL representative when we made our reservation in December. it's something I learned about when we booked our first cruise (this is our third)! We wanted to be in a particular restaurant for 'Formal Night'. They were happy to oblige and gave us our dining rotation on the phone!

Our schedule for this trip (second seating):

4/6 sail away - casual AP
4/7 at sea - casual EG
4/8 at sea - formal RC
4/9 st. thomas - pirate AP
4/10 san juan - casual EG
4/11 at sea - semi formal RC
4/12 castaway cay - casual AP

The 'casual', 'semi-formal', 'formal', 'pirate' nights are usually predictable and make sense to me ... the sea days allow families more time to get ready, if they choose to dress up.
