John: You obviously have a strong constitution if you're up for running, beer AND whiskey. In an entirely related note - to whiskey and not running - we keep trying to get into a distillery tour of our local brand (Wigle) to try it before we invest in it. But wouldn't you know, our hometown tours have been consistently sold out on the weekends we're in town or have time. I'm hoping to have something to report on that front by the end of March. Just because I know you and Corinna care.
Rose: That's a runner's credo for you - physical therapy = personal trainer. After all, isn't that why they can both be abbreviated as PT? I hope it works and that you are, indeed, on the mend. I have to say, I've quickly fallen off the bandwagon of doing a mile a day, at least for running. I generally walk a few miles a day as part of the lifestyle. But that's by bakeries and candy stores and coffee shops...
Jackie: Yes, I need accountability. I just enjoy food and drink way too much. Slurp, slurp. I'm sorry you won't be able to do the Paris Marathon; I know you must be disappointed. But you're right to want to enjoy your whole trip, knowing you have the Run Like a Diva as part of your season. I envy you the globe-trotting, btw.
Oh, and I can't believe DD is graduating already?!
George: And the most important part of your post was...
Oh, and I met Debra at Goofy!
Just kidding. It was a joy to meet you, of course, and I love that you've jumped into everything with both (blistered) feet. PAPs? I predict with the Dumbo you'll just go ahead and upgrade to the Premier Passport. Just guessing. I might be just steps behind you on that one, although we're not doing the Dumbo but likely the D23 Expo - depending on Caliban.
Is it all runDisney races for you this year?
AFM: It was a nice day today, sunny and clear. A good running day. I was thankful since it's supposed to storm tonight. I also have to say (shhh, don't tell anyone) that it's nice not to have a goal for a bit. Other than catching up on my podcasts, exploring some new neighborhoods and soaking up the sunshine, that is.
Also, if anyone is interested in running a virtual 5K/10K on April 30, you might want to consider
Without Music Life Would Be Bb (B flat). It's organized by Suzanne, one of our WISHers, to raise monies for East Ridge HS choir department.
DOOD and I are in...it's not a physical race, but at least I have
something on the calendar now.
