A Magical 4 night Cruise- 4/12/2013

Sorry I've been MIA!! Been super busy at work lately -- between that and taking care of a toddler and a baby, well you can imagine....

I will work on the FE list over the weekend, beginning with the information that has been provided on our first page and what skayrobe has pulled together on page 13. Then, I think we can fill in any additional info from there.

I saw this on my first Disney Cruise and have done it ever since. On deck 9 there is an ice cream machine that is open most hours, there are regular cones to use but since we are in Texas and we can drive I pack waffle cones to use at the ice cream machine. Everyone always asks where I got the cones and wished they would have thought of it. The kids feel very special with their waffle cones. Sherry

We got some fun DCL mail yesterday too! I was so excited and read every word in the packet! Seeing our luggage tags just amped up the anticipation!!

Hello Fellow DISers,

I am sorry I have been MIA but work has been crazy as our auditors took up residence for the last month and they will be back shortly after I get back from the cruise as we have a 3/31 year end.

Anyway, I have updated the first page. At this point it looks like we have 17 cabins participating in the FE. Please let me know if I have missed anyone.

I wanted to say thank you to both of you for pulling this information together. I don't know how people keep up with it that have 100+ members. I am really looking forward to the cruise and meeting everyone.

Hello,

We will be heading out of Galveston on April 12th on the Disney Magic. I have already booked our excursions and onboard activities. However, the kids' activities such as: ALL FOR ONE & ART OF ENTERTAINING...do I need to register the kids for those activities or wait until we board the ship? I am trying to get everything in order (this is a surprise for my kids) and I'm getting overwhelmed. Any advice would be appreciated!

Also, what is the 'Fish Extender' I've been reading about?

The Art of Entertaining is an adults only activity and I always go. One of the chefs from the ship does a cooking class on Deck 4 in Studio Sea. On a four day cruise there should be two cooking demonstrations. They serve a small portion of the dish demonstrated and they pair it with a wine from the ships wine supply. I love this adult activity.

The other adult activity you should look for are the tastings. I usually do a Martini tasting. My husband usually does the International Beer tasting.

I also like the Art of the theme show. It is also adults only and is great tour of the ship. They tell all about how Disney plans very detail to fit the Disney theme. It's a great tour. Sherry
