I booked thru Disney yesterday but found a cheaper room rate on orbitz this afternoon. I went ahead and booked it so I wouldn't miss out, but when I called to cancel the existing reservation thru disney, their systems were down and I was told to try again in the morning. Is there any chance I could have trouble with my reservations being cancelled since there are duplicates?? Thanks! :)

Hi...I also have 2 reservations in the system. I saved a whopping $500 booking through that Orbitz sale...I still have both ressies to ensure the best deal since there is no cancellation fee. Have a great trip. Every dollar saved is a dollar for your trip enjoyment!

Wow! I didn't save nearly that much but every dollar counts for sure! And glad there's no worries of our hotel being cancelled! Thanks!

Wow, thanks guys! I just saved $442!! Can you do online check in? Get magical express.? Etc... At orbitz help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Took me a while to find it/new to orbitz. Promo code SPRING20. I got 20% off the 30% off spring sale from Disney. I booked poly club and saved 20% extra :) I am going 4/5-4/8. Disney had 807.50 a night but I got 805 plus 20%.
You have to put name in first then next page on top is spot to add promo code. Be sure to use caps! Good luck!

I would save 33.77 if I made the switch... is it worth it? I have notations on my ressie for a certain building and I feel if I go through Orbitz I might not get my request... thoughts?

Good Morning.
Some background...Cabins booked for 12 days in April...originally it was 3654 through Disney.....we received a code back in early February for a special Orbitz deal that has since ended. The room was $2013...I almost fell over. Since Disney has offered a Passholders discount that still cost 2574 so we kept our Orbitz ressie...it is worth the savings to us.
For a nominal amount, which is subjective, I would book through Disney. I had to pay upfront with Orbitz...Disney..payments which is wonderful.
For magical express....This is my first Orbitz trip....so any info on that from someone who has used Orbitz will be helpful.

I might be redoing mine since I used SPRING15! I did google a bit before booking and it seems that you still get to use magical express since you are a resort guest. The only thing you'd miss is the communication from disney...confirmation letters and things like that. I also had read that you'd lose room requests initially but will receive a disney confirmation number a few days after booking from Orbitz and you can call and give that number to add requests. Hope that helps! I haven't done it myself yet but am hoping this all works!

I went to Www.disneysmagicalexpress.com/us but I do not yet have a disney confirmation number. I will wait a few days and see if orbitz sends one. At least I know we still get ME!
Thanks for reply.

I was able to cancel and rebook using SPRING20...it's not a lot but I saved another $25! :-)

Does anyone know if we are able to have a dining plan with this offer? There was no option (that I saw) to add it to the reservation...

For 33.77 I am going to keep my ressie with Disney. Call me nuts I know. It would have saved me a lot more on my split stay at the BWI had they had my room (standard) avail but they did not only waterview which is way more than standard. I would rebook but for 33.77 seems like such a hassel and waiting for conformations , changing magical express etc. I did rebook my sister though from pop to CBR and it was only 147.00 more for the week to upgrade to moderate so that was awesome

I did my sisters for her and on her Orbitz itinery there it has the hotel conformation number in a box on the left that says hotel info. I plugged that into the magical express thing and she is set...hth

Says the Name of the resort and then the ressie number and the resort address

Hotel
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort hotel details | map
Hotel confirmation number: WWWWW (changed it but this is where you will see the ressie number)
900 Cayman Way, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 US
Phone: 407-

Thanks for the heads-up everybody!:)

I cancelled my Passholder reservation with Disney and saved about $100.00 with the Orbitz Spring sale-that's a lot of Mickey Premiums!:)

Mynamewastaken-thanks for the DME info-I have never used Orbitz before and wasn't sure how to book DME.:)

For those of you who have used Orbitz before, will I receive a "Disney reservation #" at some point or will I use the Orbitz confirmation # when I check-in?Thanks.:)

If the offer included dining then yes but if it was room only then no.

For those wondering about ME, go back to the resort info page you saw before you booked. The specific site to use is on that page.

As for online checkin, here is my experience udon hotels.com. I got my official Disney confirmation number from them, and used that number to link the reservation with my account. I did that after the time disney stared messing with their site so your mileage may vary on if it can be done or how. The thing is, after linking, it never showed the Disney number, but showed some other number instead. Pretty weird!

I just called ME directly. I was told to wait 3-7 days for ressie to populate and call back. Said they could look up by name then. Since my date is 4/3 that should be fine.

Thank you to all in this thread! After getting the coupon code, I just saved $87 on my ressie for All Star Sports! I'm headed down for a job interview in Kissimmee (but am also taking two days to play in the parks!). I'm so excited. Thank you so much for the tips!
