1900 Park Fare Dinner

Love it! Strawberry soup is amazing! Buffet is decent. Stepsisters are the best part.

Did you love it or hate it? How is the food?
As with any such subjective question, you will likely get a myriad of answers from amazing to awful and all points in between. I've been twice to dinner at 1900 PF and enjoyed it both times. The food was above average for a buffet, the service was fine, and the character interaction quite good. Individual experiences will vary, so don't be afraid to try a place if you really want to eat there. For example, I've been to WCC three times and been totally underwhelmed by it each time, but there are diners who swear by WCC. I say go try a restaurant to see if it fits your tastes. ;)

We were there earlier this month and I thought the food was really good. I would go again just for the food. My son-in-law liked the bananas foster (or whatever it was) better then the bread pudding at O'Hana.

I thought the food was very disappointing. That night, the selection was pretty bad, ditto for quality of food. Even the desserts were seriously lacking. The step sisters definitely made it worth it thou. Theyre HILARIOUS. Had it not been for the stepsisters, I felt it would have been a waste. Oh, and I didnt care for the strawberry soup. I thought it was rather odd. Wasnt sure if I should drink it with a straw, or eat it with a spoon. I just didnt care for it. Overall if you like the characters and have never been, give it a try. You might like it.

The food is decent and there is a really good variety. Character interaction is fabulous!
Our service was ok for a buffet.

My DDs are 14 and 20 and it is still the first place they pick to eat each year. We find it to be really fun, characters were great. Usually the food is very good. One out of the last 5 times I would say it was just average but to us that was not the norm.

We went in December 2011 and loved it. It is my kids' (7 and 4) top choice for us to return to when we go this November. They said it was their favorite. (We also went to Akershus and Chef Mickey's - for comparison's sake)

We always pick this one as one of our buffets and have never been disappointed. We find the food to be good and the character interaction to be awesome. Love the step-mother!!!

Also, for us, a real bonus is the fact that it is NOT in a park. Therefore, we can go on a non-park day. Last time we went on our arrival day. We did not want to spend the money on a park ticket when we were arriving mid-day. 1900 Park Fare was a great way to get into the WDW spirit without a park ticket.

Neither love it or hate it (strong word;)), we just prefer not to dine there at dinner. We the like the breakfast though.:thumbsup2

It is crazy hectic and loud in there, but we like it. The stepsisters are great, and outside special parties it is the only place you can catch Prince Charming for a meet and greet. We have done it 4 times, and one time we found the food mediocre at best, but the other 3 times we thought the food was pretty good. I think like any buffet, sometimes if you just happen to hit it at the wrong time, it can be a little hit or miss. We will probably go back our next trip, since DD is a big Cinderella fan.

If pressed to choose between 1900 Park Faire and Crystal Palace for a 1-TS Character Dining my family prefers 1900. The food at both buffets are fairly decent but, as others have already stated, the Step Sisters are absolutely hilarious and more than makes up for the cuisine. Plus you have the added bonus of getting a family portrait taken before entering the restaurant... BONUS!!!!

The buffet was okay. I didn't find the character interactions all that great. The stepsisters seemed to focus on certain families alot, but just stop very briefly at other tables just to sign an autograph or pose for a picture without really talking to everyone/anyone (I guess that is part of their character though). Also the stepmother was not at dinner that evening and I was looking forward to meeting her. I would definitely try it again some day in the future, but I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

For me the stepsisters were a blast and the food was subpar buffet food. 1900 was perhaps the most disappointing TS I've had at WDW.

The night we went the food was really good, Cinderella was very sweet, but the stepsisters and stepmother were a disappointment. I was looking forward to the reports of some hilarious activity, but there wasn't any. But we had a great time, anyway, thanks to Cinderella. :)

We've been twice and our experience has been different both times. The first time we loved the food. DH couldn't get enough of the chicken Marsala and I went back for seconds ( maybe thirds, I was pregnant). But the characters were so so. All very nice but no big antics, at least any that were memorable. The second time the food was so so but the step sisters were in rare form. One even proposed to our nephew!! All in all there were positives in both experiences and we would definitely go again. It's worth a try.

The food was so so when we went in 2011. But the stepsisters and stepmother were great! Cinderella was nice too! The Prince had to leave on official castle bussiness so we didn't get to meet him.

The food was Not Good. Best character interaction of anywhere we've been, but the food is seriously lacking.

In my opinion it is a place that sticks out in my mind as one of the best places we have been to.... Because of the experience. The stepsisters and stepmother were just so hilarious and fun!!! But the food... Eh really didn't have as much variety as I would like but I would go back for the experience again.
