Going to stay at Pop June 4-11 this year for the first time. We stayed at All Star Movies last time we were at WDW. I requested a standard room when I made my reservations through Travelocity but, they gave us standard pool room view instead, I wasn't charged extra either. Does anyone know if the pool view rooms are really noisy? I would imagine they would be. The pool was crazy all hours of the night when stayed at All Star. Maybe I should call to see if they can change it? If I call Pop a month ahead of time do you think that would be sufficient?

Excited to stay at Pop, looks like fun!

Hello! I did that too! I stayed at movies n now going to Pop! Great minds think alike!

Hello DiSers!
So I've just booked my next WDW fix by Dreams and I'll call Pop home again next May... (from the 25/May till the 02/June).:hippie:
But my Dh ans I stayed there in May/2011 in our Honeymoon and I'd love to get the same room or even 'near' - it's Lady's 50's building near the little pool, first floor (DH got bad knees)... Can I ask that from the TA? I don't know the exactly room number without going home and looking through all the photos but I will IF they could pull this extra little special magic for me...pixiedust:

You'll have to book a Pool View room and request building 1, ground floor. The category of Pool View is new since you were there last. If you know the room number you could throw that in too.

Miriade, congrats on booking another trip! :cool1:

As EpcotBill posted, booking categories were added in 2012, check with your TA to find out what category you are currnently booked at and go from there. :goodvibes And I second his suggestion on asking your TA to add those 3 requests to your reservation. You might consider writing a letter to Disney explaining that you are celebrating your wedding anniversary, and how special it would be to have the same room as on your honeymoon...provide your reservation details and leave a contact number/email. You never know when pixie dust may fall on you. :goodvibes

And request your TA to note on your reservation that you are celebrating your wedding anniversary (and on all your ADRs as well). :)

May 1st I check in for my 1st time Pop stay and I'm sooo excited to get out of town for my vacation :cool1: :yay:

Question--If u order a kids meal do u get decent portions for an adult?? About what size are they?

Also the room "coolers" are they big enough for cokes, water and say a 1/2 gal milk?

Thanks everyone :thumbsup2

I always order the kids meals at QS and find them more than enough for me

Yes, the refrigerators are big enough --- pictures are in post #2 of this FAQ thread. :goodvibes

And :yay: for your first trip to POP! :cool1: Hope you like it as much as the rest of us do. :goodvibes

I am booked at Pop 2/21-26. It orginially was 2 adults and a 6 year old, then my niece got a flight for 2/22-2/25. And now my DBF got a flight 2/21-2/24. We have no problem sharing a room, but will they allow this? If we put the 6 year old on the floor?

I know they allow 4 and a infant

Room capacity is 4 plus a child under 3. There is an additional charge for more than two adults in the room. It looks like you are trying to go from 2A and 1C to 4A and 1C. That is not permitted at Pop; neither is 3A and 2C.

Unfortunately no for you ... Maximum of 4 adults and a child under the age of 3 are allowed. to stay at Pop another room would have to be booked (can request for connecting rooms).

Arriving in two weeks....last time we were there my daughter wanted a hair wrap but we didnt get it done....this time i was thinking of letting her do it...what time are they usually out there doing the hair wrapping????

I wish I knew you. I'd teach you how to do this it is veryyyyyyy easy!

Just booked April 14 to 19! We choose POP for it's rate (we can stay an extra day), its gratuitous theme, and its bus service (dedicated bus, lines for each park). Can't wait!

I'll be there the 14th - 19th of April as well. It's my solo spring getaway for the flower and garden festival. :cool1:
