I just posted this over in the Resort forum, but would like to share here as well!

My family has just booked its first Disney World vacation! We will be visiting from 5/28-6/4 and staying in the Royal Room Standard at POR. My daughter will turn 6 the week after we leave and my son will be 4. We are very excited!

We will be at POR the 28th-7th! Our daughter turns 6 the week after we get back too. Her b-day is the 12th. The trip is for our 10th anniversary (on the 14th) and her birthday, we just did not want to go the 2nd week in June! 102 days!

How cool! Our daughters is the 11th! Our son will be 4 as well. Plus, this fall is our 10th anniversary. Both our families will have a lot to celebrate. Maybe we will run into each other at some point! Have a great trip!

78 days too long! 79 for me. You have 24 hours less to wait!

11weeks from now we will be grabbing kids outta school and hitting the road for our second Disney Road Trip

Just read that they've cancelled many (if not all) Segway tours and aren't allowing reservations right now. I'm pretty bummed. My husband and I were really looking forward to doing that tour through World Showcase. Hopefully it's just something temporary.

What a shame! Did they say why out if interest?

No explanation yet. They've removed the information page for it from their website as well. I'm not very optimistic that this is a temporary thing. The Segway tour at Fort Wilderness is still going though so it must be something specific to Epcot. We may end up doing that one instead, but it doesn't come with the same level of excitement as the World Showcase would have.

Yeah.. but you're at Disney sooner than I am.. I have a conference to attend in Orlando that's not near Disney.. so all I can do is sit there and wait while it's just out of reach and so NOT FAIR! :furious:

only 73 more days until we arrive to POR to stay in a Royal Guest Room May 1- May 10th :yay::yay:!!!

I am sooo excited for our 2nd trip ever! My daughter will be 4.5 yrs old and is looking forward to this trip because she has a ton of memories from her first trip at 2.5 yrs old.

I've booked the Pirates League Makeover, Donald's Safari Breakfast, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Crystal Palace all for her enjoyment. The only repeat from our last visit is Donald's Safari Breakfast.

Monday, when I return from a concert in New Orleans :cloud9: i'm going to pay our trip off and begin finalizing our plans :woohoo:. This trip will be amazaing!

Hey yall! Havent been on in a while but with a cruise and May trip coming up I couldn't resist! Our family will be going May 3-10 staying at Bonnet Creek. Really trying to focus on my schedule and ADRs but having trouble focusing since my husband surprised me on V day with a 3 night cruise. Sailling out on my 30th birthday!!!:cool1::woohoo:

I know easywdw says MK is not recommended for 5/4 but I think we still have to do it early or late. We did CRT last year the first day. This year I have waited too long and is not an option. So i was thinking we could eat something light in the room and head to rope drop and straight to Fantasyland. Make an ADR around 12 then head back to the room till dinner. Anyone know of a first day lunch that would leave a great impression on my 4 year old daughter? :cloud9:

We feel the same! We went last year before our daughter turn 3. This year she will be 4. I can wait to see her reaction this time. THe character meal and face painting was her favorite last time. Looking forward to see what her favorite things are. She is still talking about her break at CRT. We loved Donalds Safari breakfast by the way.
