I am loving your TR so far--D was fascinated by your pics of AoA!! I am not a major fan of going in June, either. . .but a trip to WDW always works!! I will let you know about the cruise--we are super-excited!!

Like your selections for your favorites! MK is my favorite park too! Can't decide on a character since we've been pretty princess-centric until recently. Fav ride for me is Tower of Terror and I'm hoping that next time DD will feel brave enough to try it with me.

We have been skipping some of our favorites the last few years also while we waited for DS to get to the point where he was ready to ride everything. I am hoping that will be the case this year with the exception of RnR which I know he will not be ready for.

40 DAYS TIL DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!

Our first on the ship night!!

By this time, we will have gotten into our stateroom! I have ordered baskets for the guys from The Perfect Gift, and I am also going to order the room decorations from DCL.

I know we’ll have the Muster Station lifeboat drill. Since I don’t know what dining rotation we’ll have, I don’t know where we’ll eat.

I know we will definitely want to check out the Sail Away party. . .and maybe a Sail Away drink! I’m not a drinker, but I would love the glass!

I’m hoping we can get the little cheese and crackers platter and then get ready for dinner!

After dinner, it’ll be off to the show. I’m pretty sure it’s Villains Tonight! We have D prepped to take his headphones so it won’t seem “too loud”!

*This is D sporting MY headphones (backwards) for the iPad. He has really sensitive ears, so the only way we’ll make it through the show is to bring them with us! :thumbsup:

After the show (and hopefully a bunch of character pics in the atrium), we’ll explore the ship some more, and then maybe do something “magical” like order cookies and milk from room service! Then it’ll be off to sleep! The next day is Nassau!

a bit of advice for the muster drill...prepare D for the fact that the life vests are uncomfortable, Megan HATED wearing her's and fussed the entire time, think they were too constricting for her.

That's a good idea, Lisa, thanks!! I will definitely do that! I had read somewhere that you no longer have to wear them, you just have to bring them. But I don't know if that's true or not. I will have to get D prepped for the idea that he might have to wear his!

I can’t believe we’re under 40 days (at 37 to be exact!). Our 40 day date fell on Saturday, February 10. D & I had been out of school/work on Friday due to the coughing crud. We woke up feeling a little better on Saturday, so we decided to go do some shopping.

First, though, it was time to change the refrigerator board:

And then we can’t leave without adding the countdown square!!

We headed out and bought some shirts for Brian for the cruise, as well as a life jacket for D! We also ended up ordering some swimsuits (yikes!) for the trip!

Tonight’s theme (when I planned all of these out many moons ago) was supposed to be “Be Our Guest”. Well, after shopping, D decided he needed lunch at Chuy’s. So, we decided that would be our countdown meal.

D, enjoying the BIGGEST CHIP EVER (or so he said):

Once we got home, though, we decided we would go ahead and do our celebration. We were getting stuff ready and my mom called and invited us to their house for dinner. Of course, we weren’t going to say no!

We headed off to their house and had an awesome dinner with them!

I guess we ended up with a sort of “Be Our Guest” theme. . .just not the one I was thinking of! Can’t believe we’re in the 30’s!!!

Valentines Day Update!

We had such a fun Valentines Day!

Early that morning (before work), Brian and I exchanged cards and gifts. I got him Wreck-It Ralph which isnt out yet, but I pre-ordered it. He got me this:

The man does know the way to my heart!

D was SO excited about going to school that day because they had a Valentines Party planned!! We made treat bags for everyone, and of course, CARS Valentines for everyone!

Of course, we had to do a few family pics before school:

I dropped D and all of his goodies off at school and then headed to work. A good day was had by all!

During the day, Brian and I planned our dinner! He stopped on the way home and bought all of the goodies.

Before dinner, we let D open his Valentine gift from us!

He was SO stinkin excited!! Woody has now gone everywhere with us, and even had to be dropped off at Nonnas Friday morningbecause he couldnt go into daycare with D!
