October 2013 Code Watch?!

Heading to WDW Sept 27-Oct 6. This will be our first trip staying onsite and looking forward to finding out if/when free dining will be offered.

Anyone know when the park hours for Sept/Oct will be published?

Park hours are usually released 180 days prior, so sometime in March for Sept.

We are looking at Oct 21-27 for our first family trip!
Really hoping for some kind of dining discount! :)

We just booked POR for 10/18 - 10/25 for $2244; this includes 7 day park hopper and water view room. We booked thru AAA, we have a great TA there who always looks out for deals, for us. Now I've just gotta keep on the lookout for decent airfare.

Currently have reservations for early October for Art of Animation suite, but really hoping to find a room discount for a Deluxe. Has to be a room for 5 though, so unfortunately no AK or WL.

My family is planning on staying a resort for the first time in October 2013 and I have everything planned out when I get the funds :cool1: HOWEVER. I would like to pay for the entire thing in one go but does that exclude me from any future deal that they might have from here onto my vacation? I was reading that you may be able to call the booking number and apply the discount and they will credit your account if they have a deal going but I'm unsure... Thank you for your responses.:offtopic: maybe...

They will credit you in the form of the original payment, so if you pay with gift cards, you need to hold onto them until you know you don't need them anymore.

We are hoping to take our trip this year in October. We usually go in Nov/Dec but would like to go with the weather a little warmer but not too hot. Does anyone happen to know where I can find the history of discount codes in the past years as to when they came out and what the room only percentage was for each hotel? I know it exists but not sure where.
Thanks!!

Ok my daughter recently signed up to get.Disney emails and ordered the trip planning DVD...she just got a code for October!!! Doesnt give %s just prices so getting on the comp to price.it out!!!

Subbing - We are tentatively planning a trip for Oct 19-25.

We go during DD's Fall Break. She'll be a junior in HS this Fall and we figure once she start college our October family trips to Disney won't happen anymore. :sad2:

Here's to some good discounts! :wizard:

Mousesavers, here is the direct link to historical data they keep on their site: http://www.mousesavers.com/historical-information-on-walt-disney-world-resort-discounts/#codetrends

I also just got a pin code for October. It just had prices listed for values, moderates, and deluxe. It isn't a huge savings but it is something. I am still keeping my fingers crossed for free dining. I think I received the code because I got a quote for October from the Disney site. The email said we know you are thinking of visiting Disney in October 2013. If you haven't created an account and gotten a quote already, you might want to try doing so. If we book with this pin code will it keep them from sending me another pin code, possibly for free dining?

What was the discount? We currently have free dining, but I would rather have a good room only discount.

Where on the disney site did you request a quote?

We are going from 10/25 - 11/2 and hoping for free dining! Now we just have to hurry up and wait.... :)
