Pictures and comments about CSR Business Class:

I love CSR (even when I've been in Ranchos! :thumbsup2), but having Lounge access (and a room in 9B that was very convenient to everything) was well worth the extra money to me! :thumbsup2 My room (2 queens) was on the first floor, just around the corner from the lounge. The room was in very good shape and came complete with 2 bathrobes (something I wouldn't use, but thought was a nice touch!)

First, the Lounge CMs: Wonderful! :goodvibes

The atmosphere: very warm and inviting! :goodvibes

The Lounge is open from 7 to 10am mornings; then closed and locked up until it opens again from 5 to 10pm.

Breakfast (7-10am): Cold cereals, bagels, fresh fruits, and either muffins, cinnamon rolls, or danish (they alternate those). The coffee machine makes espresso and lattes; they have regular and decaf coffee, a nice selection of teas, milk and juice.

Evening Service (5-10pm): Soft drinks, bottled water, Perrier, beer, wine, sangria (both red & white!). Crackers, cheeses, veggies, hummus and several dips. Tortilla chips, potato chips and veggie chips. At 7pm they bring out chocolate covered pretzels and a spicy nut mix. (I didn't photograph the pretzels or nut mix. :confused3)

My next post will be photos of the Lounge. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the awesome pics! Makes me want to modify my reservation :).

Sangria will be mine!!!!! Can't wait! Thanks for report. Disappointed in no lunch service though. That would have been a nice stop for midday snack

They may make changes to that in the future - hard to tell. This is still pretty new. Their thinking now is that people are at the parks all day and it isn't cost-effective to keep the lounge open all day. I guess if it keeps the cost reasonable, I'm OK with that! ;)

:rolleyes1 I definitely put a dent in their sangria supply!! :rotfl2:

Just found 2 more Lounge pictures that I had missed when I did the upload!

This is what you see when you enter first thing in the morning! ;)

I think this picture gives a little better perspective of the size of the Lounge:

(remember, the time is an hour fast - this was around 9:15am)

Thanks RachelTori for posting the pics of the lounge and expressing your thoughts on it. I cannot wait until we get there in November!

Great pictures! I'm booked for business class April 29 - May 8. It's nice to see pictures of the lounge to help build excitement!

We land at MCO at 9pm. It will be President's Day weekend. I am concerned that when we finally get to CSR there will be slim pickings as far as rooms go. My only preference is that we would like to stay in the Cabanas; we stayed in 8B before loved the proximity to the Dig Site and El Centro. Casitas and Ranchos seem to be farther, plus I am not as thrilled with the the theming in Ranchos. So checking in after 10pm, will I pretty much get whatever is left over? Should I put in a request for Cabanas now? I don't care which building, which floor, what view, etc, I would just like to be in Cabanas. :)

Also, would it be best to collect our own bags at MCO, since it will be late? Could I check them with the yellow tags, and then decide at MCO if I want to get them myself or not? I figure if the airport feels quiet, we might just grab them ourselves. We will want to sleep when we get to the room, and don't want a knock at the door after we are sleeping, yet I wouldn't want to have to wait around in the morning for our bags.

I think that online check-in would work best for you.

I wouldn't use DME for my luggage. They say it can take up to 3 hours for the luggage to get to your room and at that time of night that is fairly accurate. My last stay I arrived a little after 8pm. It took all of 3 hours for my luggage to arrive. I would rather have had it and gone to bed then stay up and wait for it.

Thanks for the encouragement to book CSR over POR this year. I almost pulled the trigger a few minutes ago on a King Water view + Dining but wanted to ask a couple of additional questions.

First, if I book now and they later announce reduced rates or free dining would I be able to rebook to take advantage? It's not a huge deal if not but just thought I'd ask.

Also, what are the chances of getting stuck in the Ranchos? I'm going to request Casitas 4 or 5 first and hope for the best. The other Casitas and some of the Cabanas would be ok but I really just don't like the way the Ranchos look and don't want to end up there.

Yes, I would call in a request for Cabanas ahead of time.

I'd also go ahead and collect your bags at MCO. We did it that way and it's much easier than having the bags delivered just after you fall asleep! Also, a bit easier falling asleep, knowing that everything has arrived.

My next post will be photos of the Lounge. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the update and the pictures! I added some of your pictures to the first page - hope that is OK!

Not to sound greedy, but are you allowed to grab a couple of bottles of water before heading to the park or do they limit that in the lounge?

Absolutely! Glad you found some of the photos useful! :thumbsup2

Thanks RachelTori!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1::thumbsup2:goodvibes:banana::cloud9:

Can't wait to try this out next month!!! :)

:thumbsup2 You will have to report back -- as this is still so new, there are likely to be little changes made here and there! The CMs are listening to guest feedback. ;)

They're the small (8 oz) water bottles and I don't remember seeing them in the morning; just out for the evening snack service (and only a few out at a time). :confused3 I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask the CMs if you could take some bottles with you. :)

Does anyone know if the CSR is going MagicBand bracelets yet or if they still use the key cards?
