Florida Resident Ticket during Spring Break?

I'm having a difficult time finding info on Florida resident tickets for the week of March 23rd. I'm looking for a three or four day pass. Thanks in advance!

The block-out dates are generally for a week on either side of Easter Sunday.

Since Easter is on March 31 in 2013, the block-out dates will be starting
March 23 through April 5.

That week may be a blackout week for florida residents "special" tickets....

as far as I can read it looks like the blackout for any passes starts that week of the 23rd...

I am a Florida resident and plan to go to the parks next week (blackout for FL resident tickets) so I was thinking doing the following and wondered if this would fly:

Purchase 2-day regular park passes and add on the water park fun & more option. This way we can hit a waterpark for 2 days as well.

Then on our 2nd day at park before we are ready to leave we would upgrade to 4day florida resident tickets and add on park hopper option as well(need this to make the price higher than our original purchase) as soon as we upgrade we would have to leave park as we would then be "blacked out"

Did something similar to this before Christmas a couple years back but at that time we upgraded to Resident seasonal passes. Any idea if you can do the upgrade I am proposing?

That is upgrading from 2day regular tickets to 4day resident tickets. I know I can do it if I upgrade to seasonal pass, but not interested in spending that much to upgrade as we will only come 1 more time in next 12 months.

The person who did your previous upgrade made a mistake.

The rule is that if you entered a Park with an unrestricted ticket on a date that a restricted ticket is blocked out, you cannot do an upgrade to the restricted ticket that day. Because that effectively has you entering the park on a blocked out day with a restricted ticket.

Now if you went the following day you are allowed to do the upgrade as you will not be using the restricted ticket to enter a Park that day.

Currently all Resident three and four days passes, Weekday Select, and Seasonal are restricted passes and have the same blockout dates.

The three and four day Discover Disney passes will all expire on June 7. The three and four day "regular" resident passes will expire six months from date of first use.

And the Resident Annual and Premium Annual Passes do not have blockout dates.

You could upgrade to a Tourist four day, but then you would lose all Resident savings as well as the ticket would expire 14 days from date of first use.
