4 Night Wonder out of Miami (update 3/1-Complete)

After lunch we headed out for some more exploring. The spa had an open house so we headed that way.

Couldn't wait to eat here

I couldn't get enough of this chandelier. I like it even more than the one on the Dream, it just reminds me of the ocean.

I really wanted to get back here, it looked so cool. No photos inside, concierge guests only at the moment.

Great pictures Pam! I love how you can just wonder around the boat during the day and take pictures of everything and anything. So many wonderful places to explore.

So how many memory cards am I going to have to bring with me next October? I prefer the 4GB over the 8GB because they just seem harder to upload (although I have a new computer so it probably shouldn't matter). I am thinking I will probably need at least 8 - 4GB. :faint:

Looking forward to more. I agree - the chandelier is so cool!

Before I post the next update I just wanted to share some exciting news. I was able to book my September vacation at the VGC this morning  I had put the alarm to go off at 7:55 so I could do it right at 8:00 but either it didn't go off or I turned it off while sleeping... I thankfully woke up at 8:19 and after a few seconds of panic grabbed the ipad and jumped online. Thankfully my dates were still there. I did book a studio but the 1BR was available as well and I seriously considered booking the 1BR for the whirlpool tub but I figure I can just go down to the hot tub. I'm still torn about it though.

So Alison and Alicia, I'm ready for September!

That is great news. I love the hot tub by the Mariposa pool. It is huge.

We took the elevator up to the spa and took the guided tour. There were several CMs standing around the entrance and were ready for any group that came along. We were shown each and every treatment room where each CM told us how important their treatment was and if we did any treatment onboard we should do the one they offer... I found myself agreeing to everybody. :rotfl:

The magnificent Rainforest Room. Sorry some of these pictures are off, low light and steam make for tricky photos.

We happily bought a cruise length pass for the Rainforest Room. Our guide said they only sell 30 and they sell fast so we should get it right then. We knew we already wanted the cruise length pass so we jumped on it. Not sure that they sold 30 that cruise because several times we were the only people in there. The pass for 2 was $144. I thought that was a little excessive since the day pass we bought on the Dream was $15 each. I guess not that excessive since for four days that would have added up to $120 for 2 people. Corinna, what do you usually pay for the cruise length pass?

continuing the tour, some pictures of the gym.

We never got to the gym....

The couples villa. I didn't get a picture of the hot tub and lounge chairs out on the veranda but it looked like a nice retreat.

At the end of the tour they had us fill out raffle tickets and we had to be there to win. They would be drawing at 3:15. We then raced down to Diversions for the DVC Member Celebration that started at 2:30.

That seems a bit much for a five night cruise. I think this is what we normally pay for a 7 night cruise.

Everything is just so gorgeous! It was exactly the feeling as last year on the Dream, I couldn't believe how beautiful and fun everything was. I was on stimulation overload for sure!

:rotfl: I had 3 8GB cards in the suitcase and had to stop myself from taking photos and just sit down and relax. I only took 600 on this trip so barely put a dent in one of the cards.

More to come. I have to go to a birthday party now but hopefully will get one more update in this evening.

I'm so excited. This will be my first time out to DL.

That's what I thought I remembered you saying. No regrets since it was so wonderful, and I would happily pay that again. But I still wanted to check with you.

More fabulous photos! OK...i'm really getting excited now! Thanks again for sharing.:goodvibes

Cool! What are your dates again?

I'm loving your pictures. Bringing back memories of our cruise in December.

Thanks! :)

Woot woot! :cool1: That's awesome that there was availability!

I'm so missing that ship right now. I LOVED the spa on the Wonder! I really regret not getting the rainforest passes. :headache:

Hi, Pam! I just happened to see the link to this report in your signature, so I thought I'd join in. I'm loving all the pics so far! Definitely makes me miss cruising!

The whole cruise I wished I had signed up for a bamboo massage. That's on the list for March, I'm not going to make the same mistake twice. You must get them next time, it is so relaxing in there :cloud9: I'll definitely be getting the Rainforest passes again.

I'm glad you got the room! I'll have to put that in my phone so I don't forget. I'll be out there at the DLR quite a bit in that one month period. Between the D23 Expo, Ellen's trip, your trip and PIO's trip, I'll be visiting a bunch!
