While risking accusations of inaccurate information (okay, I'll stop now), the Boardwalk sometimes has at least historically had some entertainment -sometimes- on additional days and/or extended times beyond the "official" schedule, particularly if nice weather, extra crowds, and/or busy times. As others suggested, a quick post to Boardwalk thread to ask if that still happens may be helpful, but because it is a surprise "extra", try not to get hopes up, but even without that, there is still music, food, dancing, or a quick stroll to Fantasia mini-golf.

I can agree with you on this ;), I was at the BWI last August and there were entertainers there everyday and when it was raining they went inside and were by the bar area next to the elevators.

Dee, thanks for adding our December stay to the BOG list.

Last I knew DVC still used the verbiage "late 2013" for completion date for the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian. erionm did some detective work and found that the license has been approved:

Hi friends! I'm still in the World, though staying across Crescent Lake at Boardwalk. But I wanted to pop in and share that my fiance and I booked our honeymoon trip for October using the bounce back offer. We're going to be at Yacht Club, Club Level from October 20-25 (and then we head for Aruba!)

I'm glad to be back on the be our guest list and get to spend the year planning with you all!

Congratulations! How exciting. Happy planning for a very special trip! :flower3:

.....it was....imo very well done. Remember, I have lobster rolls in the lake regions of New Hampshire every summer so I am quite picky but - this did not disappoint. Shrimp was plentiful, lobster as well, not imitation, not too much mayo, just enough.

In fact, it was so good, tomorrow is round 2 - yes, this is one I am going back for to see if 2nd time around is as good as first so I can give you all a proper review.

Photos coming I promise - no time tonight, its already wednesday and we had a great time on the illuminations cruise but didn't have a chance to have dh's birthday cake so we are heading to the lounge to celebrate and share the cake with our new cm friends!

Thanks for the review. Can't wait to try one!:cool1:

Believe it or not, June is one of the few months (as of right now) I don't have any trips planned.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed , I check in 06/22 which is a Sat so that will be so nice to visit with you again . I really enjoyed hearing about all you adventures this past year . :) You have a magical day :wave2:

I believe I have the Be Our Guest list up-to-date. Please take a moment to look it over when you have a chance to make sure I have your information listed correctly.

Post 15: Be Our Guest list

Thanks!

Hi Dee! We tweaked our trip (more than once) Now we are Aug 23-30..still YC SV CL :)

A big :grouphug: to all my friends from the GF and RC threads visiting the Epcot side of the world too :yay:

Please add me to the be our guest list. We will be saying BC standard Aug 21-Aug 27
Can't wait
Thanks

I travel a lot and I hate those hair dryers that are attached to the wall. I just don't find them to be powerful enough. :headache: Is that the kind they have at YC? If so either DD or I will probably bring one from home.

In every room I have stayed in the hairdryer was NOT attached to the wall. It was on a shelf under the sink and you could plug it in anywhere you wanted. I found it to be adequate and I have very thick hair that takes forever to dry:thumbsup2

Hope this helps

Perfect, that's one less thing we need to pack. Thanks!

Hey, pas130. Good to see you and Beth Clayton on this thread.
:grouphug: Hope all is well with your family.

Hope pixarmom is having a great trip. I don't remember a hot tub in that location in the past. Anyone else?

Please add me to the BOG list. We will be staying SV CL June 7-14. We are celebrating our 25th anniversary (my husband asked me if I wanted to go to Hawaii or WDW, and I picked WDW). I had my lime green mickey on my bag the last few trips, but noone recognized it. It would be great to meet fellow DISers! I hope to meet Teena as well!::yes::

This is great to know! I assumed it was the kind attached to the wall. I have really thick hair, too, and it's nice to know I don't have to pack a hair dryer this year. :thumbsup2
Thank you, Dee, for the pic. :goodvibes

Lobster and shrimp roll part two... More shrimp than lobster... Citrus mayo. Just as good as yesterday. Sunken treasure = omg. Green goodness!!!!
