Coronado is a beautiful resort. Stayed at Casita 4, Room 4100...laundry and gym are here. This bldg. is not preferred.

TIP: 4103, 4102, 4101 and 4100 are ALL right across the parking lot to bus stop #2 (first to be picked up). Behind these four rooms are 4113, 4112, 4111 and 4110 - also good locations for this bus stop. Your view will be of the parking lot, but I am into bus stop closeness and being picked up first!

Park busses were empty. Sometimes DH and I were the only ones aboard. Found out firsthand busses do NOT wait for you, even if you are late to the stop, running towards them.

There were conventions present every day...did not even know they were there! Conventioneers stayed at the large convention hall, had their food buffets right there and were in meetings all day. Bridgestone tire was there and every room was filled. No problem whatsoever!

Had breakfast at the Pepper Market. Egg offerings were ALL pre-made and sitting in the warming tray. No made-to-order omlets here. Come to think of it, ALL the breakfast food was in warming trays, pre-made. Once here was enough.

DDP was the best. Ate at BOG, LeCellier, LTT, TTSq, EOS, WP, RC. Paid $149 over our room cost for the plan. WELL WORTH IT, IMO. At LeCellier, I had the best fillet and service. Tony's Town Square was fine, contrary to some posts.

TIP: CSR will give you a comp wheelchair for the length of your stay if you ask for one at check-in. DH and I could not have done the parks w/o one. Why spend $$ at the parks for one?

TIP: If you have a rental car, do NOT drive to Downtown Disney on the weekend at night. We went around 7 pm and could not find a parking space. Circled and circled, then finally left. Take the Coronado bus instead.

Will definitely go back to the Coronado in two years! Had a magical seven-day vacay!

Thanks for this. We'll be there in three months and Transportation is my only major concern. We'll be there on a low travel week for the parks but the CSR is totally booked for a conference. I still haven't decided about renting a car yet.

We've stayed at CSR twice. The transportation to and from CSR is fantastic.

Here now, and I got a bit of Pixie dust, I think. Booked a standard and got a room in Casitas 3 with a lovely view of the lake! I spent the previous 4 nights at Pop, and I like
that resort, but my heart is here at the Coronado. Isn't it funny how you can stay at different resorts, but there's one that makes you feel like it's 'home'? :)

thanks for the review and tips! we are thinking of staying at here next trip. i too like first bus stop. ;)

I am so excited! We are going to CSR Feb24-Mar1. It's my second time there, but DFs and DSs 1st time! :)

What pool would recommend taking a 1 year old to? The main one or toddler pool, or one of the other pools? We're looking for something more quiet.

Can anyone give me any info on the ranchos section? why isn't it as popular as the other two?

I think it's the distance from the main buildings that most people dislike.

We got our custom park maps today and I love that Coronado Springs is #23 on the map. Perhaps someone thinks it would have been Walt's favorite resort? Ok, it's just a coincidence, but it made me smile! ;)

Merbean- the toddler pool is really nice and is right next to the main pool. I think both would work out for you. When my kids were younger and we stayed at CSR, they were allowed to bring a few water toys in the toddler pool.

Just booked our stay for August :cool1:

I have a question about the refillable mugs. Is there any place you can fill them up yourself? I know that there are servers at Pepper Market, and I just read a thread that said the bartenders at the pool fill them up for you. I would just like a place where I can go myself to do it - maybe Cafe Rix??

Yes, you can do it yourself at the rix

Yay - thanks! It probably seems weird, but I hate to wait in line just for a drink, and I like just a little bit of ice....kind of a control freak I know ;)

So the only place to fill your cups is the Rix Cafe if you want to do it on your own? Bummer. The kids love to fill them with what they want a couple times a day. It's part of the fun for us. Is the Rix near the Pepper Market?

Yep, i know exactly what mean.

How crowded does the CSR 22 seater hot tub get on weekends ?
Better during the day than at the end of the day ?
Thanks! :thumbsup2

Hey CSR fans :) I need some info! I just booked one of these new executive level rooms.... I didn't even know they existed!! :cool1: Has anyone stayed in one yet? Any reports?? I'd love to hear more about these "exclusive amenities" and my boys would like to know more about the computers and gaming consoles they have. :thumbsup2

Thanks for any info! :woohoo:

Thanks! :) I've been googling and trying to find info. Considering we thought we wouldn't even get a room on property during Easter week this late in the game I'm pretty pumped about this! :cool1:
