Totally agree with this. Unless you, personally, killed Inigo Montoya's father, there's no threat.
My DH has this one

Is the bolded another movie quote or "pop culture reference"? I din't know it was necessary to see every movie. There are a bunch of "classic"/popular movies that I've never seen... Any of the Godfather movies, Scarface, any Harry Potter, etc. I still know some quotes out of the movie. I *NEVER* would have thought the shirt was a movie quote. This is a sweet, funny movie but I see that some people have never seen it. I'm surprised to say the least.
Just for that reason he probably shouldn't have worn it. He likely didn't think about some people not having seen it.
I probably would not have even noticed the shirt!
I have never seen the movie and have no idea who Inigo Montoya is? For all I know it is the guy wearing the shirt.
I see it as a threat.
I'm just really failing to see what is "threatening" about a t-shirt. He obviously wore it past the airport security and they didn't see it as an issue. I highly doubt someone that actually *was* planning on trying to do something on the plane would wear a shirt proclaiming it.
Seems to me like someone only read the "prepare to die" portion, didn't bother reading the rest, jumped to conclusions/made assumptions, and decided to tell the flight attendant that they were scared of a t-shirt.
Yep, well I never saw the movie. Sorry, I don't find it amusing. NOt on a plane, not in these times. Just goes to show you, they will let anyone wearing anything on a plane these days. It is in very poor taste.
I've never seen the movie but I've read the book.
I suppose if I didn't know the reference and I had killed a man, I might be concerned about my safety.
Really? ANY t-shirt should be worn wherever? No one should find any picture/phrase/image/message offensive?Personally, I think I'd be more worried about the people who think a t-shirt is offensive or scary.
It's a t-shirt.
Paranoia is not a good thing.

(Bolding mine) Wow, this comes across as incredibly elitist. Seems like someone wants to go back to the old days with separation of classes
It's the same poster who said beer at a wedding was "beyond tacky."

Meanwhile I'm the crackpot because of my views on bread and butter.
