What side of the ship can you see fireworks from?

Im trying to figure out if Ill be able to see fireworks from my balony(or if m other family members will be able too either.) Also, Last year we went on a 4 day cruise and I know we had them :) but do 3 day as well!??! Thanks :)

The fireworks go off from the starboard aft portion of the ship. Yes, they have them on 3 night cruises as well as longer cruises.

On our 4-night Dream, they chased DD off Deck 13 (ironically, same location they let her watch it from on 7-night Fantasy last summer). We moved to Deck 4 and pulled two lounge chairs over parallel to edge of rails and reclined. Perfect view and absolutely nobody else around. Got to play some shuffleboard while we waited too.

Does anyone know if you can see the fireworks from an aft verandah? And if they ask you not to be on your verandah for that time frame, when/how do you find out?

Thanks! :)

Since most of the aft verandahs on the higher decks have a section of the balcony that has no roof. You could theoretically see the majority of the fireworks (some are launched from the forward funnel and these would likely not be visible) from the verandahs that are more on the starboard side of the center line of the ship. However, I am fairly certain that in pretty much all circumstances, these cabins would get notes left by the cabin steward/stewardess the morning of the pirate party/fireworks that say not to leave any clothes or other objects on the verandah and that watching the fireworks from the verandah is not permitted. Both times we have had starboard or aft balconies on the Dream, we got this note and others have reported the same.

I wanted to photograph them so I asked lots of cast members about best viewing.

They said always off the starboard side. They are shot from both funnels toward the middle of the ship.

I doubt you could see anything from an aft verandah.

Best viewing in on Deck 12.

We saw the fireworks from our aft veranda on the Dream. It was an amazing experience!
