I am looking for a picture or someone that was recently there to tell me if the space under the beds solid, like on a wooden platform that some hotels use or if is it an empty space like our we have in our homes.

I can only speak to the mansion side of POR that it is empty space under the beds because we were able to shove our suitcases under there. I'm not sure about the AB side because that side used to have the trundle bed that would slide under the bed. I would assume there would be empty space because of that, but not sure how the trundles used to be hooked up.

I have to ask. Why would you ask?

:). Because we are traveling by car and if I can pack all those extra things: toiletries, snacks, power strips, kids toys, etc. in our flat underbed boxes they will stack in our vehicle nicely and then store out of the way under the bed. Much easier than rotting through deep boxes or bulky suitcases.

I stayed in a Royal Room in November 2012 and I thought the bed was on a platform.

Hmmm - we need someone to come along with pictures. LOL
