Joining in! DH and I will be booking this cruise while on-board the Dream this May. Can't wait to sail out of Miami and head to Key West! We were on the Wonder in 2010 and had a great time!

We just switched our December 2012 trip to this April 2013 cruise. Need to change my countdown ticker

DD just got into nursing school. So proud of her...but this means she will not be able to go on our family cruise on January 5th. We looked at her schedule, she confirmed it with the school, and I have the two of us booked on the April 18th cruise out of Miami! She is very excited to be cruising, as am I...this cruise will mean I have been on all of the the ships!

Is anyone going to be doing the Champagne Ladies thing that they have talked about under the DCL forums here on the DIS? Would love to do that with Em. So excited!

Maybe its too early but there don't seem to be too many people posting for this cruise. I'm going with DH, DD (14) and DS (12). First cruise for all of us but we love the Disney Parks so we're all excited! Anyone know if anyone is starting a fish extender thing or does that not happen on short cruises? Would love to hear from anyone!

I was so excited to find this thread but sad that there's not much action on it. This is our first cruise (me, husband, & 10yo daughter) but we are Disney fanatics! My daughter's dream is to see all the Disney parks and each Disney ship---she likes to dream BIG We've been to DW twice, DL once, and this is our first Disney cruise. Have you chosen a hotel in Miami yet?

Hi! Glad I'm not alone here. We are combining this trip with a visit to see my grandparents who live about 2 hours north of Miami. So we're going to rent a car and drive down that morning. Sorry I'm no help!

We just booked on this cruise this week! First cruise ever and would only book Disney . Cruising with DH, DS (2) and DD (6). The kids and I are huge Disney fans - husband, not so much. That said, think Disney Cruise is perfect compromise; something for everyone. Excited to find this meet and swap ideas and tips!

Hi All, my DW (Hope Sparkles) and I just got off the DVC Members Cruise a few days ago. My DW twisted my arm to do this April cruise as she will "hit a Grand Slam"... For those of you who are new to the DIS and to other things Disney like I am, a Grand Slam means all 4 ships in 1 year. I didn't go on the Magic in September as I had a work conference so I'm 1 ship short of her achievement. And, most likely she will be the one posting, but 2 days ago which was 2 days after we got home we were hit in a car accident and she is a bit more sore than me. I promised her I would jump on here to see how the thread was going as she is an avid DISer and after this past cruise she is now Platinum as I'm still Silver turning Gold with this next cruise.

My DW has cruised DCL 10 times and I have 4 times. We've been on the Wonder for a 15 night Panama Canal cruise in 2011 for our 10th anniversary so we can help with DCL, Wonder, etc. questions but like you we need help with the Port of Miami as well.

Congrats to your DD! My DW has organized so many events on previous cruises and/or has been a part of many other fun things to do. I know she has done a Champagne Girls event so as soon as she feels better I'll have her answer this

We just got off the DVC Member 3 night cruise and there were 22 rooms that did the FE including us. My DW did 3 5 night B2B2B NY to Canada cruises on the Magic last year where we made FE gifts for 300 people. She is very well versed in FEs and would be happy to answer anything about them when she gets on here in a day or two.
