When I have used a travel agent they have the reservation number and you aren't allowed to call and get info or change anything. The reservation is likely in your agents name or under their agency. So the number you have is your file number with the agency, and they will provide you all the info and documents once they are sent to the agency.
It makes sense because that way people can't get an agent to do all the work and then take the reservation over and the agent doesn't get their commission etc.
I would call your agent and tell her/him your concerns and they will explain it to you I am sure.
In the past, documents were sent around 40 or 45 days out to my agent and then she mailed them to me or I went to pick them up when she called so you should have them soon.
