Dumbo Double Dare!!

Does anyone know if DVC will be offering a discount as a member perk? They have in the past but the DDD is getting so much attention that they may not this time.

I registered after saying I wouldn't. I was too tempted by the C2C. I justified the cost as I spent more for Princess registration since I included the race retreat. Now I am just hoping for decent flights!

I received the email link from Disney Visa yesterday. I can't remember when I was so happy to see an email! Dumbo Double Dare, here I come! Signed DH up for the 10k as well. He just won't know about it until his birthday next month.

Sorry if someone already mentioned this, but looking at the registration page, it costs $10 more to register for the Dumbo Double Dare than if I were to register for the Half Marathon and the 10K separately? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Dumbo Double Dare the combination of running the 10K on Saturday and the Half-Marathon on Sunday? Did I miss something?

Yes, it cost $10 more. But you have to sign up for the DDD to get the extra medal and shirt.

I used the code from the Expedition Everest Race (it's like RUNDISNEYDVC or something like that) and saved $10 on my DDD entry. It's not listed on the DVC member website as a discounted race but the code worked.

Side note: I am in! Cannot wait to get a DUMBO medal!

Where in Texas? We are in San Antonio. I am looking forward to warmer weather but I am enjoying being able to run whetever time of day I fell like it!

I like running in the summer when it's warmer and still light when I get home from work.
