So...what attractions do you feel aren't worth attending?

I'd skip the Circle of Life show in the Land at Epcot.

I think everything else is worth at least one go through.

If I ever decide to sit through Country Bear Jamboree again I'd like for someone to smack me upside the head.

My DH and I call this nap time!!!
My kids do not nap easily, so this ride is a great chance to slow down and reset.. For those under 2 they will most likely fall asleep!
Also PEOPLE MOVERS!! If there is not wait they will let you stay on the ride..
DD fell asleep and we rode around and around for over 90mins! Best ride ever..
But can totally skip if you do not need a nap...

It'll be our first time (2 boys, 9 and 12, and my wife and my dad), but based on what I've read here, I feel pretty comfortable skipping:

MK- Stitch, Jamboree, Pooh, Teacups, Small World, Speedway, Tom Sawyer Island, Laugh Floor, Liberty River Boat (Jungle Cruise IF and only IF we need a break), Carosel of Progress, Fantasyland (may go have a peak at Gaston's Tavern) will be dissapointed to miss Splash Mountain..

Epcot- Captain EO, Gran Fiesta Tour, American Adventure, Turtle Talk.

HS- Voyage of Little Mermaid, Honey I shrunk the Kids, Idol, Magic of Animation.

AK- Boneyard, Whirl, Spin, Camp Minney Mickey, Rafiki Planet Watch, will be dissapointed to miss Kali Rapids.

This should free us up considerably.. :)

quite a few on that list I wouldnt skip unless I simply didnt have time. Grand Fiesta rarely has a huge wait and is a pleasnt ride. jungle cruise esp at night is nice and especially romantic, winnie the pooh is one of the best rides in fantasy land..laugh floor grows on you..dino whirl is a blast esp if you like coasters

Yeah, maybe when the sun goes down.. Good idea!

The rest, I can't handle spinning.. I'll TRY Buzz, Space, etc. but I'll have to power through it..

I would say to not discredit any of the rides based on other opinions and just try to do everything that you can and then come back and hit your standout favorites. You may find what to you is a sleeper hit that other people don't really enjoy all that much.

Been to WDW close to 20 times in my life - Disneyland mebbe half a dozen times.

Just was curious as to what others thought was not worth doing....

If this is your first time, you really are doing a disservice if you are skipping Small World (yeah, I know I won't go see it anymore but its worth doing at least once) and COP is a classic, too. Laugh Floor is actually pretty hilarious

#1: I would say do Enchanted Tales, but do it first thing! It's super cute and worth it to see at least once.

#2: Things I skip are:
MK: -Stitch's Great Escape ....just don't...ever....or subject your children to it...
-Tiki Room, see it once, you're good
-Country Bears (see above)

AK:
-It's Tough to Be A Bug...haven't heard much about this, but I know bugs drop down from the ceiling, no thank you!

DHS:
-In terms of your trip, I'd say it's safe to skip the Disney Jr stage show...

Epcot:
-Captain EO...it's just not worth it...

BAHAH! Yup...those are the usual suspects of "no thanks" to me!

Stitch is my favorite character, but Stitch's Great Escape isn't that great.

On the other hand, I LOVE It's a Small World. I'm just a sucker for any 'water' ride! :rotfl:

Are you sad the ride under the sea to visit Ariel is waterless? My family sure is.

I agree on the water rides!

The only attraction I am not interested in is fake carnival rides in Dino land at DAK. What in the world is that section still doing there?

Ellen's energy adventure. Yawnnnn

The land ride. Double yawnnnn

Tiki room, country bears, swiss treehouse, hall of presidents

MK:
Country bear jamboree. Oh gosh it was terrible. BUT...maybe the baby will like it. The other two never did.
Enchanted tiki room
Used to be stitch for me because i was an OG Alien Encounter rider. But my kids like stitch.

Epcot:
Any of the innoventions (borefest...but my dh always goes)
Ellen's ONLY if the baby needs a nice dark nap for 45 minutes.
The land ride is pretty lame
Captain EO....EEEE-never again.

Hollywood:
That narnia thing
That new Jack sparrow one is probably just as lame but i guess we'll try it.
Sounds dangerous (is that still there...it was terrible)

Animal:
Birds of prey

~We have never been to the Tiki Room, we skip it every year. I just can't bring myself to go in there -- maybe I need to see what I'm missing, lol. :rotfl:

~We intentionally skip Fantasmic!, we've seen it once and that was good enough. The most fun we've ever had at DHS was when there was no effort put into seeing that show.

~We also skip Circle of Life, Talking with Crush, Stitch, Finding Nemo Musical, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor and so much more.
:goodvibes

With the Tiki room I would agree if you have seen the current version, if you have only seen the 'Under New Management' I would say see this one again since it is back to the old version.

As for 'It's Tough To Be A Bug' I have seen this show many times... it is a very cute show... and no bugs ever dropped from the ceiling! It is a 3D show with some animatronic characters around the screen but nothing drops from the ceiling on you!

I completly agree with Captain EO and Stitch... just not worth it.
