BC here we come!! Are they still working on it?

Super pumped right now. I was able to buy 2 nts for a studio at BC for less than a value resort. thanks to a DVC member who had points that were about to expire. I've gotta admit....Daddy likes BC

Last time we were at Disney we went by the BC on the boat and they were doing alot of refurbs. Are they still going on? If so, to what extent?

was there last week and hurricane hannas is still closed and boarded up. I asked the lifeguard at SAB and he said a few more weeks.

I am pretty sure just Hurricane Hannas is closed and that SAB is open. There is a thread dedicated to the Yacht and Beach Club and it is very informative. You might want to check it out.

You are correct MarieA-it is just Hurricane Hanna's that is currently closed.

The slide will be closed for a couple of days later in the month, but for now, as far as I know, the whole pool is open for business!

I had read they were doing referbs on a lot of the pools - including SAB.

This is what I found on Mousesavers.com

"Stormalong Bay Pool (Yacht & Beach Club Resorts) and slide closed 4/9/12-4/23/12 for refurbishment. Only a portion of the pool will be closed. Guests may use the open parts of the pool and the pool and slide at BoardWalk Inn Resort."

So if these aren't your dates - then your good!!!

I was at the beach club today! the pool is still open! Hurricane hannas is not. 60 more days until I arrive to actually check in (instead of just visiting!) Hoping it will be open by then!

Might be touring Disney on a crutch. Twisted my ankle today VERY bad, just about couldn't make it home without literally throwing up due to the pain. One thing is for sure....if I end up renting one of those ECVs, I feel sorry for any of you who are going to be in Disney the middle part of next week
