CSR - Business Class, anyone stayed yet?

Hi! I am about to book CSR and under the spring discount only Water View and Business Class - Standard View are available for my dates, which is fine! I was going to go Water View, but for $20 more a night could do this new "Business Class", which has me intrigued! I don't care about the computer access - I'm just wondering what the "food and beverage options throughout the day" might be? I've stayed CL at some deluxes and I'm not expecting that level of service, but even if they serve a continental breakfast, it would be worth spending the $20 extra a night for my family.

Anyone stayed there yet? Thoughts?

Is this Coconino Cove? Or is this a different business lounge?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWzDNLBOHGo

No one has reported back yet, but we have some DISers going in February who have promised to report. :thumbsup2 CSR did a trial last year and offered continental breakfast, snacks, and beer and wine in the evening. There are reports that sangria will be offered as well in the evening.

This is the information that I have received:

Opening January 2013!
Coconino Cove the new Business Lounge at Disney Coronado Springs Resort will provide a variety of exclusive amenities and upgraded services to our Guests.

Located in the Cabanas, building 9B, Coconino Cove is a semi-exclusive gathering place for networking, relaxing, working or playing.
Guests with Coconino Cove access will enjoy upgraded, semi-exclusive services and amenities, including:
Use of in-lounge iMac and PC stations, computer gaming consoles and flat screen televisions
Electronic device charging stations & boarding pass printing
Areas suitable for small groups to gather and meet in a relaxed setting
Assistance with dining reservations, ticket information and other special requests
Food & beverage offerings throughout the day
Conveniently, all Guests with Coconino Cove access will be located in building 9B during their stay. Guest rooms will be close together near the lobby and convention center.

Coconino Cove is open 7:00 a.m. 10 p.m., 7 days a week

I haven't ever been in the CSR club lounge, but I expect that is what is shown on the video.

Thank you so much! The continental breakfast and wine, alone, make it worth it for me. I'm going to give it a try! Thank you!

I'm curious about this too. The room location is perfect and the amenities sound nice, but I'm hoping to read some "just back" reviews before deciding whether or not to upgrade.

Was this the lounge someone asked about last week that is adult only?

I don't drink, but the continental breakfast and the location being 9B was enough for me to book business class for our trip.:thumbsup2

I called to check pricing and it is only $196 more than standard view for our trip (Feb 17 to 22 with the AP discount) so I decided to go ahead and upgrade. For $40/night the location and continental breakfast alone make it worthwhile, and I'm sure my girls (DD11 and her BFF12) will appreciate the little upgrades in the room like the DVD player and toiletries. That is if I ever get through to a person... I've been on hold almost an hour now. I should have just upgraded when I called to check pricing but I wanted to run it by DH first.

DaisyD - the club lounge isn't adults only. The bar/lounge at the resort is in the evenings so that might be what you're thinking of.

I just switched our Easter trip from AKL to CSR business class and I can't wait. Hoping we won't be disappointed. My superintendent, my brother and his friends rave about CSR so I figure it's worth a try.

I didn't know they were finally offering this as a room reservation!! In 2009, DH and I stayed at CSR in January over MLK weekend. We were given a surprise upgrade to the business lounge. It was their soft opening that week. It was amazing. Snacks and the breakfast were delicious, and real coffee from the coffee pod machine that we all learned to use together that weekend! We go see them every time we return, John, Willie, Dave and Luicito are amazing. They remember us every time we visit. I'm off to call WDW to upgrade now for our Easter trip!! We'll be at CSR from 4/3-4/5 after the first 3 nights with my family at CR.

YOU WILL LOVE IT!!

:cool1: We're there the same dates after spending the start of the vaca off-site.

What kind of breakfast foods is it? We are big breakfast people and usually use our QS credits on breakfast, which I kind of hate doing. Might be worth upgrading to business class for us if the breakfast is good. How about the snacks?

I already know a convention will be present during our stay in November. Would you expect the lounge and this building (Cabanas 9B) to be packed with conventioneers? Or do they have separate offerings?

Also, with the computer access, anyone know if these are complimentary or is there a fee for the usage? It would be great to not have to bring my laptop! Thanks!

The club lounge is not adults only. Rix Lounge (a nightclub/bar on property) is adults only after 9 pm.

Prior to business class being a bookable category, conventions would sometimes offer club level amenities for attendees (and sometimes not). I would expect that business class would not be available for leisure guests to book if a convention had reserved the building for its events, but I think it would also be possible for individuals booking a convention to book business class (not at the convention rate). So there may be conventioneers there, but if you are allowed to book for your dates, I expect you would find more leisure guests than convention people.

The largest convention at CSR has moved offsite for 2013 :cool1:. Most conventions are small and do not offer club amenities as an option - they would be more likely to offer breakfast in the convention center or not at all.

I would not expect an additional fee to use the computers in the lounge.

I just got some clarification on the club lounge from an expert - conventions will not be able to book the lounge for their events. Attendees are able to reserve business class rooms just as families are, but the lounge is for all guests who have booked business class.

Word so far is that there will be no complimentary upgrades to business class.

If it's like other club level food, there will be scrambled eggs, bacon, continental type danishes, cereal, maybe cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice, milk, etc.
Have to say I am thrilled about this new offering. We've always been fond of CSR but it will become our weekend place when we're staying DVC. The weekend pts. allotment are nuts and I refuse to use them for that time. We usually fly in on a Friday night and fly out about 10 days later, so 2 weekends at CSR each trip!

Does anyone know if the business class rooms, have connecting rooms?
THANKS! :scratchin

I'm sure they do, since there were connecting rooms in 9B before it became business class. They didn't do any major remodels for the reclassification other than creating the lounge; the rooms are the same as they ever were except for upgraded soft goods and accessories.
