Breakfast with some Fluffy Friends
Friday, November 9, Part 2
Since we decided to skip Splash, we didn't have anything to do in Frontierland at the moment, so we decided to use our Peter Pan FP's. We went back to Fantasyland and got right onto Peter Pan with our FP's, they just let everyone who had one get on with no wait! I love that about FP's, but I always feel bad for the people stuck in standby, just waiting there, not moving.
Peter Pan was magical as always, and when we were finished, Brandon wanted to do Philharmagic. We had a breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace, but it was still pretty early, so we had no problem seeing Philharmagic, especially since we went in right when they opened the doors to the theater, so there was no waiting around or anything!
I absolutely love everything about Philharmagic, it's just perfect! I usually end up crying at one time during the show, either during the Little Mermaid part or the Lion King part. I just can't handle all the Disney perfection all at once!
Once Philharmagic was over, we decided to go over to Crystal Palace to check in, even though we were a little early.
We checked in and we got seated right away, even though we were a few minutes early, which was nice, because after that not so fantastic danish, I was starving!
We sat on the right side and our server told us to just to up to the buffet right away because the characters would be back out soon (they must have been taking a break or something because when we walked in, no one was out!). We went up to the buffet, got some stuff and sat back down, and soon enough, Pooh was visiting our table!
(Sorry I'm not putting up my picture with Pooh, it's terrible!)
Right after we saw Pooh, Tigger came to visit!
(Ok, that picture isn't much better than my Pooh picture, but Brandon's Tigger pic is just awful, so I had to put one up at least!
)
While we were waiting for Eeyore and Piglet, we ate our breakfast, which I'm sorry, I didn't take pictures of, but I'm sure you guys know by now what the Crystal Palace buffet looks like! I got an omelet, some wonderful Disney bacon, that potato thing they have there, which I realized I don't like because it's way too onion-y, and of course PUFFED FRENCH TOAST!
I'd go to Crystal Palace just for the puffed french toast alone, it's that good! In fact, if I go there again, I might just do that, because my omelet was awful, it was not cooked at all, and I don't think I ended up eating much of it. Oh well! Everything else was pretty good though!
Sadly, we didn't wait for Eeyore and Piglet, they were just taking way too long and we were ready to get out of there and do something else!
We decided to go to Tomorrowland and check out the wait time for Space Mountain. I love Tomorrowland, I could spend hours just sitting there, listening to that perfect music loop, so when we got there, I found a place to sit for a minute and just take it all in while Brandon went over to Space Mountain to see how long the wait was. He came back and told me it was way too long, so we decided to do one of my favorites...
THE PEOPLEMOVER!!!
I don't know what it is about this ride that I love so much, but I do, I love just sitting back and riding around Tomorrowland!
(Oh, and if you're wondering why it looks like there are tons of people getting on all at once, I think the ride was down and it reopened like, right when we got there, so a lot of people were let in at one time! There wasn't some mad rush to get to the Peoplemover or anything!
)
I know you are all dying to see the required Peoplemover-shoe-picture, so here you go:
Those are my brand new Merrels that I bought specifically for this trip, and I walked in for a few weeks before we left and I thought they would be great and...they weren't!
Oh well, I'm just never going to find comfy Disney shoes I guess! They are cute though, aren't they?
When we finished our tour of Tomorrowland, it was around noon and we were getting kind of tired, getting up at 5:45 was starting to catch up with us, and although I planned to stay at the Magic Kingdom until 2ish, we decided to just go back to POR for a while to unpack and nap so we had energy later that night.
I did have to take a few pictures on the way out, I mean, how could you walk by this and not take a picture?
Soooo cute, I want Mickey and Minnie topiaries in my garden someday!
So that little parade/dance party they do at MK, is that still the "Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it" thing, or is it something different now? Well, that was going on as we were walking out, so I stopped for a few minutes to watch, since we always kind of ignore it!
It's cute, but it just makes me want to see the afternoon parade in MK, and I swear, no matter how hard I try, I will never see that parade!
Well, sadly, it was time to leave MK for the day, even though I was getting more and more tired by the minute, I still hate leaving the parks!
However, I was excited to get to POR and check out our ROYAL ROOM!!
Up next...our lovely Royal Room (which I'll be doing the update for right after I post this one!)
