E.T. Smell

:worship: Donn't take out E.T.

I'm with you on that 1 mac,GhostBusters was pretty kool, until someone took a flash photo when they were told not to.Then the special effects were gone for a few moments..

King Kong had some issues. I heard that the upkeep was difficult and expensive. They also needed a big building for the Mummy ride. Universal Hollywood used the ET building for Mummy and so they lost ET.

I still have my Kong t-shirt and wear it from time to time.

I love that smell too. I was with my brother somewhere last year and we smelled something similar to ET and we both looked at each other and just knew where we had smelled that before. :goodvibes

Its one of the best Smells on a Ride EVER! People are always staring at me as im taking huge lungfuls of it hehe :P :thumbsup2

i don't notice the smells in the express line but in the regular line.

i do all the rides in the regular line early before crowds.
i like to see everything on that route.
i do miss a lot of things when i skip the regular lines.

i use the express lines when the crowds start.

they need to just fess up on what the scent is because i NEED to buy it. hahaha

Glad I am not the only one who feels this way! My family loves to tease me over my love for this smell and I am sad when we skip US for IOA.

I love the smell too! But then again, I love most theme park smells- moldy water smell, ride vehicle exhaust smell... :lovestruc I've had sinus problems for the past year or so and have not been able to smell for most of the time. I've really missed the scents! It's amazing when you realize how much smell affects everyday life when it's gone. I'm finally getting it cleared up so I'll have to make it over to E.T. sometime soon..

Slightly off-topic, but has anyone else noticed the smell in the Forbidden Journey queue (inside, not in the greenhouse)? It smells cinnamon-y, but it's so hard to describe.

I think the wonderful smell is just in queue through the forest not on the ride itself. It smells like pine trees, rain, and ferns to me.

I have thought for a long time that all attractions (WDW or USF) should have their own unique sights, sounds and smells.

Soarin has some smells as does Mickey's Philharmagic, and many, many have their own sounds (theme music, area music, song)....but all attractions should hit all the senses.

I`m in the "like the smell" camp......but not quite sure why.

Can`t remember where in the EP queue I do smell it though?
