What is DCL Up to Now?

I just tried to check a western on the fantasy for August 2014 for 1A2C. it won't show the western itineraries. It only shows the 2 Easterns for that month. Maybe the website is wonky.

I just checked my Western on the Fantasy for Jan 2014 and its working fine.

We are booked for a Western itinerary on the Fantasy for May 2014 and it is not showing up on their website for some reason! Only Eastern!! What is going on? :worried:

I've been looking to book three staterooms out of Galveston for October 2013 and those cruises were on the site last night. When I checked today, I came across the same "sold out" message.

Also, a week or two ago, I came across 8-day Wonder cruises out of Galveston for the same month that went to Nassau and Key West. A day or two later, they were gone. I thought it was strange that they would go to Nassau, but not stop at CC.

Well if it means nothing to anyone the Wonder still shows going to Hawaii in Sept according to three of four Hawaii ports.

Now I'm really getting curious if this is a major change of plans or a website error!
It kinda seems like the website might be all caddywampus for some reason. Deep breaths everyone, answers are coming. ;)

search for panama canal, september 2013

September 14 to September 28
Disney Wonder

But when you click it says 14 "RLG" and no itinerary is listed. Huh?
And the first Galveston December cruise listed is the 21. Sept, October and November cruises are still inaccessible.

It also lists cat's and price's. and allowed the booking process.

I "Wonder" if the Panama Canal Cruise is actually going to turn into a Hawaii cruise. The Wonder is listed in Hilo on 16th and 23rd September, in Nawiliwili on 15th and 22nd September, at Kahului on 17th, 18th, 20th and 21st September and in Honolulu on 19th September. So this looks like two one way cruises to me with a turn around in Honolulu. I have not found the Wonder anywhere at the other end yet as she could not go to a US port, but it is intriguing.

I'd do a one way in a heartbeat! It'd give us a chance to try out Aulani!

Don't get your hopes up, because the Wonder has been on those Hawaiian port calendars for quite a few months. I also expected to see two one-way cruises between Vancouver and Honolulu in September 2013, but that's not what DCL announced in July 2012.

Hawaii is most definitely not on the menu next year even if the Wonder does head there. We were on the inaugural Hawaii cruise and we are planning a land and sea trip combining Aulani and a cruise on the Pride of America in 2014. I am actually hoping that the Wonder will sail out of Galveston in October 2013. I had my heart set on the October 19th cruise, which was scheduled to call at Falmouth, Jamaica.

However, it would not be the first time that DCL has changed their plans after the itineraries were released. The second Hawaii cruise this year was not meant to happen either.

Did DCL actually cancel previously scheduled crises to make the second Hawaii cruise happen?

They have changed the itinerary for the Wonder at least 3 times already in the past 16 months or so, from what I can recall.

Yes, they did. I think they cancelled two Mexican Riviera cruises, but it may have been two Coastal Cruises.

Corinna

Well then there's still a chance that the Wonder will actually go to Hawaii in Sept. interesting!

DCL is going to irritate a lot of people if they keep monkeying with itineraries once they have been announced!

Yes but given history it's still a possibility. Who knows. They might change other things also or leave everything be. Time will tell!
