What is DCL Up to Now?

I just decided to price a cruise for next fall out of Galveston and the one September cruise and all October and November cruises are showing as sold out. I do not believe for a minute that they suddenly have sold so well. Any idea what DCL is up to now?

what the...?! Oh no, we're booked on one of the Nov cruises and we've already been joking that it may 'disappear' on us. I'll be heartbroken if they change it (again!) :crazy2:

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I had been eyeing the October 19th cruise and also I can kind of understand that one cruise may be sold out, I find it hard to believe that 9 or 10 are especially as most of them are off season.

strangely enough it shows 3 cruises in december 2013 a 6 night and 2 4 nights but nothing else.

It appears they may be making changes like they did for LA last year when they moved the wonder to Miami. It happened about this same time of year as I recall our Mexican new years was moved to miami but sadly we had to cancel but its strange they modify cruises so much after they announce them. I think its going to hurt them more than it helps if they do in fact make changes again for 2013

Maybe they'll leave the Wonder on the West Coast for fall 2013! That would be awesome (and yes, I doubt that will happen but a girl can dream, right?!) :cool1:

I'm with you! I've been whining on every DCL thing I can find about the ships all being on the east coast.

SO glad I booked a KSF for February. Had to only book a 4 night b/c we can't pull the kids out of much more school this year, but it is better than nothing. We were hoping to do a 7 night next year in the fall, but it looks like that may not happen. At least we'll get to do one DCL cruise before they pull out of Galveston altogether. --Katie

We're desperate for some cruises out of LA! I'll take a 6-hour drive from Phoenix over an expensive flight to Florida any day!

We are booked on the September 2013 PC cruise and the cruise shows up on the DCL website, however, the itinerary is not shown. Wondering if the Wonder will end up docking in Florida rather than Galveston. We'd much prefer that for several reasons, mainly the possibility of a stop at CC. :thumbsup2 On our existing itinerary, there is no CC stop.

Per the DCL website at 2:20 pm today, this is what was shown when I requested a quote for a Galveston October 2013 cruise:

We apologize, but the vacation dates you've selected are currently sold out. We invite you to check back again later as space may become available; or, if your schedule is flexible, to select another date or destination. Thank you for your interest in Disney Cruise Line.

I am guessing changes are being made to itineraries.

Moving to FL would be just too good to be possible. :worship: The May WestBound gets a stop as well as some great ports along the eastern side. We have been waiting so lone for a Panama Canal to match our schedule that I don't care where they land, I just have to be on board. :yay:

I've been wishing for a CC stop on the PC cruise! Hopefully, it may happen.

We are now at 8+ months until the cruise!!!

Hmmm. Outs looks to still be the same Jan last out of Galveston...what changes are y'all talking about?

The Wonder out of Galveston Jan 4 still shows as available. I Wonder which cruises are affected, other than the PC cruise, clearly.

It appears that all the Wonder Galveston sailings through December 21 are up to something...hmmm.

Lorelei, I only checked the September 2013 PC cruise and an October 2013 Galveston cruise. I'm assuming you are good to go this January out of Galveston. We just sailed the Magic last month. Had a great time, as usual.

Anybody remember that the Wonder showed up on the Kahului, Maui port schedule for fall 2013? Hummmm.

I bet changes are a comin'! Come back to the west coast!!!

I just tried to check a western on the fantasy for August 2014 for 1A2C. it won't show the western itineraries. It only shows the 2 Easterns for that month. Maybe the website is wonky.
