Good evening. We made it home this evening against my strong protest. Probably not much point going back the past week aside from what little I caught while I was away, so prayers, congratulations, condolences and happy birthdays.

Time to adjust to being back in the real world.

I did win 2 lawn seats for our choice of concert at PNC center though (worth at least 60+ depending on show) so I'll have to see in April who we want to see Rush usually plays there and I've never seen them live before so that could be a choice if they are there this year (even though they are from Canada)

Last week for me until the 2nd. 12 days off, not counting weekends, is my bonus.

Was supposed to have New Years Eve off, giving me a 5 day vacation, but no dice, big boss recinded all the 24th/31st off. Work comes first, family second. (betcha he's off though)It's our busiest time of year, you would think a bonus would make a nice gesture for all the harder work, stress and craziness that comes this time of year. ah well, we hardly get by, what with the 3-4 billion in profits we make.

The bosses will be working, giving themselves raises and trying to figure out how to fire more staff to increase profits.

Day off, but it doesn't feel like it. Gotta run back to the school, grab Amelia for her yearly doctors appointment around an hour from now, then get her back, and then have to run to Toronto to pick up something for DW. Hopefully time to grab a nap this afternoon.

Well, can't fire people per say, union would step in, but if he is working, then all the big bosses will be going store to store checking in on people. No doubt we are doing our jobs correctly.
